Friday is Fun Day!

Yo Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

We have been having fun today, the Accountant has been over and we have been chasing him around the office!

He is not an 'Animal Person' and views anything with more legs than him as 'Suspect'!

So of course, we jumped up and then woofed and then tried to give him a lick and then we jumped up and in the end, Old Two Legs put us in the bedroom and shut the door!

Spoil Sport!

Next we decided that the birds on the bird feeder required a good woofing 'cos we haven't done that for some time, so we did.

Well, that was until OTL came down the stairs and told us to stop, why?

It was then that we decided to give the chicken a bash, so we woofed our tail off until OTL came down to see what we wanted!

That was rather good and Holly told me that the chicken we have has lots of stuff left over after our bits are taken away, there is loads of skin and bones and all manner of  chicken stuff left over and that The Missus then boils it all down and makes a 'Chicken Stock' out of it and afterwards uses the stock to make the home made soup that OTL loves!

It makes a change, normally it is us woofers who get the left overs!

This morning OTL got us up early again and off we went down the beach. Now, OTL never seems to want to just take a photo of wot is there in front of him and make it look 'Natural'. You know, splishy splashy waves for instance. TM wants to see the drops of water frozen and in mid air while OTL wants a slow shutter speed so that the waves look all misty and ethereal looking.

This morning the water was rather calm and the sky was rather dark, no sign of a sunrise.

So.

There was OTL resting the camera on the Sea Wall and clicking away using different settings but it was all done without any torch, so he couldn't see any of the dials on the camera!

It was a case of Fiddly Fiddly until he got what he wanted and then wait until he gets home to see what the computer says the settings were!

Just in case you were wondering......1/8/sec at F/5.6 ISO6400
There you go, mind you, we think the colours are OK!

See you tomorrow when it's back to Doggy Scoff!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Well wot a pretty picture OTL took this morning. Now it was pitch black when I got up and went out into the garden. I did a bit of guarding for a little while then my boy came down and took over so I went back to sleep, snuggled on the sofa until my mum came home, then we all had some scoff, they had crusty bacon rolls and I had my usual scoff, then we all watch Star Trek. We all decided to have an early siesta then so my boy went back to his room and me and my mum snoozed on the sofa for an hour. It's been very cold here again today, the cold makes me very tired so I've had a lot of little snoozes. Has OTL considered changing accountants to find one who knows how important woofers are to a business? I bet OTL was glad that you were interrupting so that he could get away from the accountant, my mum reckons accountants are usually so boring that you could fall asleep listening to one. Now all this talk of chicken soup, why are you getting doggie scoff tomorrow and not chicken soup? I bet OTL wouldn't mind sharing it with you. You'll have to take Mrs TM with you if she wants to see frozen drops of water. I'm going to have a nice snoozy cuddly evening tonight. Hope you all have a lovely evening with some nice muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. I hope that accountant chap doesn't charge extra for the unwanted attention, so sorry he wasn't an animal person but then not everybody is. The birds on the feeders can laugh at Holly woofing through the window they are safe, safer than the accountant chap. I like natural pictures too, water looking like water and not like a blurry milky concoction and Michael said "here, here", still not everyone is the same so I will let him off this time. The chicken soup sounds good, good for keeping warm and keeping slim unless he goes and eats a loaf of bread to a bowl. We had a good evening except that when we got home the gas bottle was empty, still it has been dry and the sun came out this afternoon. Have a lovely Saturday hope you manage to get some chicken yourselves xxxxxx
