We see some strange things!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Now there are days when there are new things to see, like Old Two Legs falling out of bed. Or maybe Miss May jumping onto OTL shoulders from the top of the cage or even Holly offering to share  her dinner with me.

Mind you, that has not happened yet!

Well, there we were heading towards the beach when we spotted a ship heading up the Thames. It was going slowly, which is not unusual but there was a mighty tower stuck on top of it!

At first we thought it was a container ship but when we zoomed in on the photo it looked like a it was a sort of drilling rig.

What do you reckon?

Well we dunno!
That was taken with a slow shutter speed 'cos the sun hadn't got up yet but you can see the tower.

When we got back home OTL did some investigation on the internetty thing and found it!

It was a drill ship, it's called the Sertao! At the moment it is parked up on the Thames at Tilbury!

Wunderful thing this internetty thing!

Down on the beach OTL was clicking away at the sun rise but the sun wasn't ready to poke it's head above the horizon!

Now, that is worth getting up early for!
Back home OTL has been reorganising the office computers, trying to get a little more space on the desk!

Now that he has finished he finds out he has run short of sockets for the plugs so next thing will be a trip to the shop to get another extension lead with more sockets!

Lunchtime we took Fred and Wendy down the beach but the pair of them decided that they would rather stay cuddled up i OTL's arms, that was until we got back to the football field when they agreed to walk across it back to the car!

Holly was talking about the summer days and how she enjoyed sun bathing on the beach but today it was rather damp on the beach and as much as she wriggled, it wasn't as good as a summery warm sand!

Roll on some warm soft sand!
OTL wouldn't let he stay on the beach 'cos she might get sand in her eyes and get another dose of conjunctivitis!

OTL says that she has to keep clear of that 'cos it costs a fortune to get some stuff from the vet!

With a bit of luck, we should be getting some chicken tonight!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

  1. Yooooohooooo little maties. Well I reckon that boat is a boat with it's own lighthouse. You do see some funny things on your walks. I went up the shops this morning for my cuddle and treat with Brenda. Brenda loves me, she told me she loves me, I love Brenda cos she's always pleased to see me. When I came out there was 2 woofers outside, waiting to go in and get a treat from Brenda, now one of them was a very friendly doodle type of woofer but the other one was a snarly, evil, hairy little yorkie type woofer wot was snarling at me. If Brenda saw it she wouldn't give it a treat, now way! Brenda loves me very much. I've been helping my mum today, she's been on a mission. We did some diy in the downstairs loo cos the seat kept slipping so my mum took it apart then put it back together again, she reckons we might need to buy a new one. Then we cleaned the upstairs bathroom, then we moved things around in the little bedroom and I found one of my toys. We're trying to get everything sorted for when Mrs Boy comes. Tomorrow I've got my 3 month check up at the vets, I'll be looking forward to all the cuddles I get there, they all love me there. Tell Holly if the sand is cold and wet, wait till she gets home and have a roll round the carpet, it's a lot warmer. I've just had a conniption on the carpet, I do love a good conniption, I usually have one when I get home from my walk, where my collar and muzzle have been, I have a conniption and it puts my hair back where it was. I hear Mrs TM was snoring last night, my mum reckons I was snoring most of the night, perhaps me and Mrs TM are soulmates. It's been a bit chilly here again today, all the cars were covered in frost when I went out. Smashing picture of the sky down your way today. Loved all the pictures. I reckon Holly is waiting for you to offer some of your scoff to her then she'll offer to share hers with you. Have a lovely evening all and hope the muggings are good. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Very interesting pictures, the internetty is very clever for finding things out and you will be able to keep a check on what happens to that drilling thingy. The lovely orange colour of the sun waking up you were there at the right time and now every day the sun rises earlier so you are going to be out in the daytime soon. Holly is just practicing for the sun bathing, she must get some sort of goggles then her eyes will be protected, have a look on the internetty. Good thing, chicken for dinner, enjoy it and savour it because it will be doggie scoff soon enough xxxxxx
