Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
Well, what a day, we've been out at the crack of dawn looking for UFOs in the sky and we thought we had one but the camera never lies and it was an aeroplane heading for Heathrow!
It might be a OoooFOoo! |
Then it got closer! |
Lunchtime it was Eric and May's turn to go on a run about but Eric decided to stay in OTL's arms until we all got back to the football field. It was only then that he agreed to have a little walk across the field.
There were a load more Mole Hills and Holly said that it wasn't Moles but rather Ferrets wot made the mounds!
Eric got all upset cos he was being blamed for something he hadn't done!
No, it weren't me, Honest! |
OTL said that it couldn't be Eric as the mound had been pushed up from underneath, so it must have been a mole and not Eric!
Eric was pleased with that explanation and told Holly to 'Woof Off'!
When we got back home and put the pictures up on the computer we decided that the picture of Eric showed him in a good pose. So, OTL enlarged the picture and her we are.......
Eric de Poser! |
The moon is very close to the earth and today the earth will be between the sun and the moon. The sun will still be able to get some light on the moon by shining through the atmosphere and that will make the moon look red.
It's called a 'Blue Moon' 'cos the alignment of earth, sun and moon only happens 'Once in a Blue Moon'!
On top of that, when the sun, moon and earth all line up, it will all be below our horizon, so we wouldn't see it anyway!
So, the moon will be red and not blue and we won't see it and we don't think that is fair, so, Holly has been working on a picture OTL took of the 'Blue Moon'!
There's your Blue Moon after all! |
Bye, bye!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
Yo maties. Lovely pictures, specially the one of Eric De Poser. Holly chops did well with the picture of the blue moon. I had an adventure last night, there I was feeling a tad bored when I thought I'd come the old soldier and see if my mum would take me for a drive to see some nice young ladies that I could tart with and get some cuddles. Well I started limping and at first my mum decided to wait and see what happened. Well by the time she was ready for bed I developed a really serious limp, my boy came down and the limp got worse and I started crying. My mum got the car out and off we went to the RVC to get me checked over. When I got there I was in such a rush to go and tart that I clean forgot to limp, but they checked me out anyways, they took me off and they examined me, then they brought me back to my mum and gave her some pain killers for me and told her how brave I was and how waggy and licky I was and wot a lovely boy I am. Well I was getting quite tired cos all that tarting is vey hard work you know. We got home at gone midnight and I went straight to sleep and my mum said I was snoring so I didn't need to take any nasty tablets. This morning I went to my own vet for my 3 month check up and I got loads of cuddles from all the ladies there which wore me out again, it's just such hard work being a little Arch at times. They said they are going to try to wean me off one of my tablets ........ does that mean less scoff I ask myself. Well I'm pretty exhausted now so it's a good job my mum and my boy have the day off tomorrow so that I can get some snoozes and cuddles. I'm not allowed to go for walks for a few days which means I don't have to go out in the icy cold. My mum reckons she could do with visiting the TL vet cos she feels tired out, do you reckon she tarts with them? Now she's not fluffy and cuddly like me so I suppose she would have to work even harder, but she says she's too tired to go today, maybe next week if she still feels under the weather. Hope you manage to get some of that pork and egg pie. I reckon you're good to OTL letting him the salad cos he needs something to eat. Have a lovely evening, hope Holly chops eye is on the mend soon, come to think of it, is she trying to get into competition with me as to how many trips she can get in to the vets? Hmmmmm I'll have to think up a couple more visits I thing. Take care all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWe had a look at the moon and it wasn't blue just very big and bright so Michael left the blue moons to you. Ferret holes go down, mole hills come up and doggie holes go along and down, I think I understand the science of Holeolgy. Grand looking ferret is Eric, beautiful and sleek just right for ferreting around. I read all about Archie and his limp, he is more clever than you think. I must go now as my friend is coming to have lunch, ham sandwiches but by the time you get here they will be gone so I hope you managed to get a good share of the pork and egg pie last night. xxxxxx
