Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!
Well, it has started, the snow I mean, there was a light dusting overnight which didn't stop us from going out for our morning stroll along sea front.
Hey! I sniff Pussy Cat! |
No, I don't think that the yellow snow is normal! |
Wheeeeeeeeee! |
Come on, the short cut is up here! |
Mind you, we did get a couple of chicken bits that The Missus had dehydrated the other day. You know, they are a tasty bit of stuff! Freddy just can't get enough of them and will sit in OTL's arms nibbling away at one while OTL holds it for him!
Miss Wendy hides hers but she is not very good at hiding 'cos Freddy soon finds it, if he wakes up and fancies a nibble that is!
Funnily enough, Eric is not too taken with the chicken and he leaves it alone, which means Miss May gets her Chicken Bit and can hide it, find it again and eat it all without Eric getting a nibble!
OTL did some work and we had a snooze and half way through the morning some more snow landed and we all decided that at lunchtime we would just have a run around the football field at the back of us!
Ooooops! Some more! |
Can't catch me! |
I could do this every day! |
OTL wouldn't let us roll in the yellow snow so Holly and I managed to make loads of snowballs and get them stuck to our legs which made us walk like we had pooed our pants!
More snowballs! |
It was almost like having a bath before getting a haircut!
No, don't mention that he may get ideas!
Poor Archie Babe has got that today, I do hope it's not snowing where he is, it will be freezing for him!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well I'm glad someone is sorry for me, I'm quite sorry for myself as well. I've been rubbed and scrubbed and combed and brushed and snipped and trimmed and it ain't half cold. My mum took my warm fleece with us to the groomers and she put it on before we came out but just as we got back home it started to snow so my mum carried me in quick and my boy took off all my stuff. I've stayed snuggled up inside today and every time my mum opens the back door I run and hide in the living room, under the throws. I ain't going out until my hair grows. I had a nice snooze this afternoon under one of the throws while my mum snuggled me. We haven't had any more snow but it sure is cold out there. Looks like you enjoyed your play in the snow but I don't like wet stuff, nor cold wet stuff, nor even warm wet stuff come to that. Loved the pictures today. I would stay away from yellow snow if I was you, I think OTL knows best. Not more doggie scoff, that's not right. Well I'm off back to my pile of throws to get warm and snuggly. Don't let OTL get any ideas about giving you a trim in this weather, that's just plain cruel. Have a warm snuggly evening and I hope you manage to mug something better than doggie scoff. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (bald and cold) Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteDon’t worry Archie, I feel sorry for you as well as Daisy, all this hair cutting on a day like this should be outlawed, as for Daisy having a dip in the warm sink at least it melted all that stuck on ice! Tomorrow looks like more of the same so today was a practice, Michael donned a pair of plastic sacks over his slippers and went across the road to photograph the house, when he took the sacks off they were dry. Sounds as though the chicken was a great hit with most except Eric but more for everyone else. Are you taking TM out tomorrow for a stroll, she needs some fresh snow under her boots! Take care and keep snuggled and 180 is far too hot. xxxxxx
