Monday Fun!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, we had a good day yesterday, no sign of a squirrel, but, loads of sniffs!

The ferrets said they had a good day with plenty of time to catch up on their sleep!

We reckon Freddy slept all day and all night 'cos today he was tearing about all over the place and play fighting with Old Two Legs this morning!

Down on the Sea Wall this morning it was cold, I mean, like there was a strong breeze blowing in off the sea and we were glad to get back into the car!

It's as cold as it looks!
Lunchtime we took Eric and May out for a walk but they stayed cuddled up in OTL's arms for most of the walk.

Holly and I went after the sniffs but the wind was chilling them, so we couldn't really enjoy them like wot we normally do!

So, what else could we do?

Mole Hunting!

We got back to the football field both Eric and May wriggled to get down from OTL's arms and headed to the mole hills.

There was one that had more earth thrown up so Eric and May got digging to see if the mole was still there!

I'm sure I can sniff something down there!
Holly and I set to on a couple of mole hills down the field a bit but there was no sign of the mole. We reckoned it was back in bed eating a lunchtime worm or two!

Mole Sniffs but no mole!
We decided to visit all the Mole Hills together and see which one is the strongest sniff but we still couldn't decide where the mole was hiding!

Nah! No Mole Sniffs in this one!
In the end we all got fed up and headed off to the car to get warm again!

We didn't go straight home but rather of to deliver some stuff down to one of OTL's customers who was panicking for some stuff!

Then it was back home for a snooze and one of our chews!

Let's hope that tomorrow it gets a bit warmer!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

  1. Yo mole sniffing little maties. You lot really are on a mission to find these moles wots making them holes. Do you think maybe they come out at night? Might be worth going down at bedtime with little torches on your heads. Then again, it might just be better to go to bed, tucked up warm and snuggly. I chased a bit fat squirrel out of my garden today. They run away going eeeeekkk a woofer is going to eat me and then when they get up the tree they start blowing raspberries and swearing at you. I told it to come down and blow a raspberry to my face but it just went higher up the tree. I had my mum and my boy home today, we watched Star Trek on Netflix. It seems the Federation are having trouble with Klingons, now, they should go and get some butt wipes cos my mum uses butt wipes on any Klingons near my butt and that's the end of them. Simples. My boy is off tomorrow so he'll be guarding in the afternoon when my mum goes to work and we'll probably have a wrestle or 6. Mrs Boy arrives Sunday night so we're all looking forward to that. I'm first to have cuddles with her!!!! Loved all the pictures today, it does look cold down there and it's very cold here. Hope you got some decent scoff today. Have a lovely evening all, stay warm and snuggly and paws crossed for plenty of muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Now Mole hunting is a new past time for you and at least they build hills so that you can see where they had been, far more considerate that rabbits and the squirrels just climb the trees and laugh at you. They do shift alot of earth over night, perhaps you could take OTL on a midnight ramble across the football field, you never know you might get a close encounter that they aren't expecting. Seems Archie knows how rude squirrels are so now you must mind out if moles are as rude! Lovely blue sky in your first picture today, wow that was blue but very, very cold, I was out in it today only from house to car to Church Hall to car to house but it was COLD. Love the picture of you all with the mole hills, maybe Freddie will have another stay at home day tomorrow, can't have too much excitement in one week. Take care, keep warm, big hugs from your ever admirer xxxxxx
