Soggy Saturday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

You know, it is strange how the weather can be quite acceptable during the week but come the weekend, it's YUK!

Today has been like that, as soon as we stuck our noses out of bed, it started to rain. Then when we went out walking, it started to rain!

It was so wet that Old Two Legs only took one picture, a wet bunch of Sea Kale and no, I have no idea why either!

.....and it's wet as well!
Back home there was some chicken and a nibble but we were banned to the bedroom while the ferrets rampaged around the house. Holly and I didn't mind 'cos that means we get a chance to snooze!

Lunchtime we left the ferrets snoozing their tails off and headed off to the football field where we see that the Mole has been working overtime!

Well, I managed to wee on three of them!
We have never seen a live mole but they seem to be good at digging!

Holly and I saw a dead one a few years ago at some RSPB bird site on the Norfolk coast.

I spotted a balloon that had fallen from the sky and landed in the water, I rushed down but it was too big to bite and anyway, OTL told me not to go in the water, or else!

Well, how about a little bite?
Then it started to rain again!

Back home we had a good roll on the carpet to dry off our backs before settling down with OTL to watch a couple of episodes of Britannia on the TV.

We can only watch it when TM goes out 'cos she doesn't like the blood and guts!

So, we plan an evening cuddled up with OTL, a smallish malt whisky and some nibbles.

The whisky is for OTL while the nibbles we get to share!

See you tomorrow and let's hope it stops raining!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties, wot a horrible wet, drizzly day it's been here as well, quite cold. Marianne can over to play glue flinging today. I got some lovely cuddles from her, I did try to have a nose in her bag to see if there was anything in there of interest to me but my mum told me off. I spent most of the day snoozing. Loved the picture of you by the water. Wot a shame you couldn't go and get that balloon but I bet that water was very cold. I expect OTL is having a small nip to keep the cold out. Hope Mrs TM had a good day flinging the glue. Stay warm and snuggly this evening and enjoy the treats. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Wet and miserable here too and cold enough to freeze the ballbearings off a brass monkey. Lovely photo of you with that balloon. What a spoil sport OTL is not letting you go in and get it, but then it might have been very cold on your undercarriage. I've been to the poodle parlour with Genie today and spell like a bowl of tropical fruit but it is nice to be so clean after all the wet and mud. It's Tommy's turn tomorrow. He had to wait until tomorrow because they need an extra person to hold him because he is a tinker and likes to hold their hand in his teeth. So mum has booked him in earlier than usual while his hair is shorter and has no knots so that he can have a "positive experience". They still love him to bits and give him lots of cuddles, but he has learnt to put his front paws on their shoulders and look all soppy into their eyes when ever he wants them to stop and he gets a big cuddle as a reward. So they need the extra person to protect the first person from all his cuddles and hypnotising soppy eyes. Mum is also getting us all booked in because she has lots of £10 of a full groom vouchers which run out next week.
It's good to hear that Little Arch got lots of cuddles from Mrs Marianne. I hope he didn't get stuck to her with all that glue flinging. Does Nipper get cuddles too?
Watch out with those Moley holes! You never know what might nip you on the nose if you stick it down a hole.
love, wags, sniffs and tasty chews from Izzy and the gang. xxxxx

  3. Popular here tonight, sometimes I try to be first but today I am third! A tale of woe, my computer worked but didn't want to go on the internet and the put it right programme took ages to put it right, all day I waited to do things on it. We spent all afternoon watching "How it Works" on Quest TV, one after the other, I now know how they make Pipe Cleaners, Strings for a Violin (from animal intestines), Ready Made Sandwiches etc. etc. Fortunately they didn't go into how they make doggie scoff! Are you planning to hang the picture of the wet Sea Kale on the wall to start a different theme? Let's hope tomorrow brings a brighter day for photography, some dry sea kale perhaps or some spring flowers, we must wait and see. Hope you enjoyed your evening cuddled up and didn't get any glue on you. Archie has had a nice day trying to be Archie, did he really think there might have been an Archie snackette in Mariannes' bag! Glad Izzy and the gang are doing well even if they have poodle parlours there that turn out woofers smelling like tropical fruits! Have a good Sunday xxxxxx
