Wow! Hasn't it been hot today, almost too hot to get into trouble!
We heard from Old Two Legs that the clouds were still there and the wind was just as bad! Mind you, no rain, so that is one blessing!
They haven't seen so much as a sniff of an otter and the 'Wildlife tours' that ferry two legs around to see all this stuff are having problems finding otters as well! They say it is because it is 'Frog Week'!
Seems the otters all go up stream hunting frog spawn as a treat instead of munching on crabs and fish!
Well, that is their excuse anyway and that is the one OTL is using!
They have seen the eagles, in fact they have seen three eagles that have come down to visit the boat to get their herring! OTL can't get to the pictures in his camera cos he forgot the patch cable, so we only have Alun's pictures.

If us woofers got to the vet with a sore paw we get a needle in the bum a pack of pills to take away the infection and a big bill!
Sometimes I thing the TL's have got it all wrong and we should all go to the vets!
Tomorrow OTL is heading home, so that means we will have to go back to sharing the bed with him again!
He says he has brought some chocs for The Missus but he may pinch some to go with the bottle of Tobermory Single Malt that he and Alun did some 'Serious Damage' to last night!
That is if he is brave enough!

Yo maties. Well I'm glad OTL has at least seen an eagle, them otters must be camera shy or daft, I mean, giving up crab for frog splawn, daft or wot. I agree with you Daisy, my boy needs to see a vet about his sore paw, I reckon that the woman he saw yesterday don't know he needles from her butt. My mum is well cross, she reckons google was better than the doctor he saw. He's got his long weekend off this weekend so he can put his paw up and rest it. Now just how much damage did OTL and Alun do to that single malt last night? They better stay away from Mrs TM's chocolates or she'll be doing damage to them and it won't be fun to watch. Hope they have a safe and pleasant trip home tomorrow. How about that then, OTL will be back to take over the guarding and making sure you and Holly chops get your fair share of the bed again, I bet Mrs TM has been making you sleep on the floor cos she's got all the bed and the duvet. My mum has got an appointment to go in the can, well it sounded like a can, she goes tomorrow week, I just reckon she should go to the vets, get some pro kolin and a jab in the butt and she'll be sorted. It has been very hot today, I've been sitting under the trees at the top of the garden, it's nice and shady and cool there. The grass is all cut nice and short so I can see if any frogs try to sneak up on me to make me play sniff and hop. Hope you're getting decent scoff while OTL is away, if not you'll have to tell him you were neglected. Have a lovely evening and make the most of stretching out on the bed tonight. ReplyDeleteIf it is frog week then why do we not see some froggy pictures? Well done Uncle Alun for getting the eagle picture and sharing it with Daisy. OTL must have been wearing his eye patch when he packed, weeks he spent packing then forgot the patch lead, is it something like a dogs lead or something to cover a hole in jeans, can you ask Holly before they come home. Seems to be poor paw week as well as frog week, don’t think either is good. We are at the seaside, very hot today, we had a Chinese takeaway, well a Chinese bring in a car, very nice but no plawn quakers boo hoo! Tomorrow we are off on a bus ride just hoping the weather keeps good. Safe journey to the wanders xxxxxxh
