Hi Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!
Well, you will be pleased to hear that Holly has almost got over her experience down at the vets. She keeps telling me the horrific details of the operation on her ear and how I've got to be gentle with her and let her get to the food bowl first and also have the best treats.
I'm getting just a little fed up!
I mean, they didn't even dig anything out!
She gets just one more day and then it's all back to normal!
Old Two Legs is getting in a bit of a state up there in wet Scotland. He has had nothing but high winds and wet! The pair of them spent two hours and twenty pounds trying to spot a Sea Eagle on its nest while the eagle stayed right at the bottom of the nest keeping the eggs nice and warm and stuff the visitors who want to take pictures or spy on her!
OTL has also been searching all the normal places for otters but not a sign anywhere! It seems that although the otters spend almost all their life in the water, they don't like rain and yesterday, it was raining!
OTL and Alun went out to eat last night and to help them get over their disappointment in not seeing and otter, they seriously damaged a bottle of Talisker Single Malt, got back to the B&B and went to bed early forgetting to let us know what they have been doing!
It's a good job that Holly sent them an SMS on the phone at four this morning to make sure they reported in!
We are expecting a full report tonight, or there will be trouble!
He has been warned!
See you tomorrow.
You know what? I think I have a hair in my ear as well and need a chew as a treat!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Poor OTL not seeing any eagles or otters, hope he has better luck today, mind, he might have seen something nice in his glass, it sounds like it. Poor Holly, she did go thru a traumatic time, you don't want Mrs TM to take you for the knock out drops and the vet looking down your ear so don't tell her that you have a hair down there. My boy is sitting down the local hospital at the moment, he's had a bit of bother with his paw so we're waiting for him to ring and then my mum will collect him. Now we had a sad day yesterday, I told you about the little frog sitting in the garden and I didn't think it was feeling very well, well yesterday I told my mum to take it to the vets, she did but it died on the way there. We were very sad and it wasn't my fault, honest, I didn't make it play sniff and hop, I just looked at it and went and got my mum. So little Algaenone is no longer but I got my mum to give me some scoff, cos that's wot they do after TL's have a funeral, they eat scoff. Hope Holly chops is feeling much better today, maybe she'll share the best treats with you cos you're such a nice sister to her. Hope Mrs TM is doing well with the poo shovelling. Have a lovely day and hope OTL and Alun have better weather and better luck today. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteHow did you sneak in this, two posts in a day, a late report then an on time report, I am as confused as the otters who can’t know if they are coming or going which is why they can’t see them. What a disappointment to pay up and then not to find anything, better luck tomorrow. Holly as always milking it to the last after her operation still she will be down with a bang after her convalescence is over lol lol xxxxxx
