Wet Monday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Well, this Easter is not the baking hot, sun bathing, swimming in the sea holiday we had hoped for.

It seems to have done nothing but rain!

This morning it was raining as we headed off for the Sea Wall. Old Two Legs had to put us on our lead until we got down the path a bit 'cos otherwise we would have got back into the car!

We spotted a couple of rabbits and gave chase. I tell you, who ever designed them made a big mistake when they were given a white tail!

I mean, it's like a beacon for us woofers and dead easy to chase after, right up until they go underground and get away!

Still it's good fun!

Back home May and Eric had a great time rampaging and Miss May has shown no signs of wobbling and instead she has had great fun beating up Eric!

Lunchtime we decided to let Freddy and Wendy come out with us 'cos there seemed to be a break in the rain and the Sun was poking from behind the clouds!

Now it has been a while since Freddy and Wendy have been out, so they were a little cautious about all this open space and wet grass!

Freddy had a sniff and a little dig in the grass but decided that a cuddle with OTL was the best form of exercise!

I remember this sniff, it's Woofer Wee!
Holly and I had fun chasing a couple of crows while the ferrets worked their way across the football field.

You know, it would be easier to chase Freddy!
Miss Wendy thought it great fun and scampered ahead sniffing all the familiar sniffs. She even took interest in the mole hills.

Looking at the mole hills we reckon that the mole has left home 'cos there hasn't been any new earth thrown up for several days.

If I can't sniff mole, can I try for a mouse?
Back home Freddy was all please with his run out and says he is looking forward to the next outing, providing it's not snowing!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well it has been a washout easter this year in more ways than one. Loved all the pictures today and Daisy, don't even think about chasing Freddie or OTL will stop your muggings and chicken dinners, tsk, naughty girl. We're all pleased to hear that Miss May is doing well and hope that she has made a full recovery from her trip. I bet beating up Eric more than makes up for the fun she missed the other day. I've been working hard again looking after my mum, my boy has done the shopping so between us we're due for a day off. My mum had booked the day off today so that we could do something nice, like go out somewhere for a while, but even if she had been feeling well the rain would have spoilt our fun. I'm getting quite worn out laying on her head and keeping her warm but she is trying to feel better, she's made it to the kitchen for her exercise when I've told her it's time. She didn't feel like going into the garden but then neither did I. Perhaps if it's not raining tomorrow I might persuade her to do a patrol round the grounds with me. Thank goodness my boy is home until Thursday cos he helps me look after her. He looks right funny though going up the shop with his shopping bag. It was tipping down with rain otherwise I would have gone and helped him when he suggested it, but then on the other paw I decided that I was really needed to keep an eye on the old girl just incase she needed one of us. I reckon them moles don't like the rain much either so they're staying put in a warm place until it stops. Hope you all have a lovely evening with plenty of muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (worn to a frazzle) Arch and the (lazy butt) Nippers xxxxxxxxxxx
