Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!
Well, we have decided that unless we are super luck or fall out of bed in the very early hours, our chance of a colourful sunrise has gone with the wind!
At the moment it is Old Two Legs who get;s up at six in the morning and it is still darkish but by the time he has had his shower and got his clothes on, the sun is up above the horizon!

Holly got all protective about her Bonio and Little Miss May was trying to work out how to get it and Eric was hiding under the pillow keeping out of the way!

Lunchtime was fun, we got down to the football field and I found the ball under the front seat. OTL threw it across the field and off I went!
Now, as you know, I don't do 'Fetch' and I don't do 'Retrieve' either! So, when I got the ball I headed off, well away from OTL and started to kill the ball!

The Two Legs that were with them asked if one of the woofers belonged to us!
As if!
Then one of the TL's asked, 'Are you The Ferret Man?'
'Yes' says OTL 'I answer to that name'
Seems they often see OTL walking the ferrets but have never got close enough 'cos they think the ferrets may attack their woofer!
As If!
Mind you, it's a good idea!

Yo maties. Loved all those pictures today. Holly chops is a very clever girl, I wish I knew as much but my brain is a bit smaller than hers so I know a bit less than she does. Mind I know when it's scoff time and bed time so I suppose that's enough to be going on with. Now I reckon little Eric was hiding under the pillow just waiting for a chance to pop out and pinch that bonio when no one was looking. See us chaps aren't always daft. Sounds like Miss May is fully recovered. Now if them TL's know that OTL is the ferret man then they must know only you and Holly are his woofers, except of course when he takes the honorary woofer ferrets for a walk. Bozos come with 2 legs and 4 legs it seems. I've been playing with my boy again today and we've been working on his training for fetching scoff, he is a very slow learner but I'm putting in the hours and the commands, he will get there one day, I hope. I've been killing my teddies, my boy throws them for me to catch, then I grab them and kill them. My mum is a better more better today. She still doesn't feel like coming out with me on patrol of the grounds but at least she stays at the door and waits for me to come back. We've got a short siesta planned before my next scoff time. ReplyDeleteWell we have floated back to Kent leaving some of the water in Lincolnshire, I can report that it did rain and the Water Taxi that starts operating again at Easter is still in its dry dock. Michael said I am to say that we used shankseys pony, except that I don't know how to spell his word, why can't I just say we walked into Spalding and got on the 505 bus back. We had a good time though and I have some catching up to do, tomorrow lots of printing, washing and eating to do as well as looking to see what you have been up to. Beautiful pictures today not just of the sunrise but of my two favourite woofers. That ball was asking to be killed and you did it proud by the look of it. OTL found another fan and also it seems those little furries have been noticed again by someone who thinks they are fierce, you should have told them that you and Holly are the force to be recond with. Ferrets in the bedroom, I can just imagine TM going to bed and out pops a ferret to have a nibble of her ear!!! Poor Archies mum, just what has he done to her to make her this poorly, she needs more fuss and maybe a dose or two of Ferretone that would sort her out. xxxxxx
