Hi Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!
I don't know what it is like where you are but down here in Sunny North Kent......it's Yuk!
I mean, no sun, serious misty fog and very wet grass!
Eric was OK with the wet grass, he was enjoying a good 'ferret' in the clover but Miss May had a little run, a wee and then decided that a wet tum was a very good reason to get back into Old Two Legs arms!
OTL was busy this morning doing some 'Manufacturing' so we all headed for our day beds for a well earned snooze, until lunch time!
Miss Wendy came out with us and had great fun in the clover, there is something about wet clover that they just love!
Holly on the other paw thinks that any hint of damp is something to be avoided!
Freddy is spending a lot of time snoozing nowadays, OTL says it is because he is getting old and in need of snoozing. Well, he is about seven years old and that is a good age for a ferret!
We have to make plans to go down to the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue next week to drop off the donation made by the ladies of the Allhallows Crafty Group, they did a magnificent job of raising a donation that will help with the vet bills and care of all the ferrets that find their way to Harrietsham!
The weather fores cast has just said that the South East will be getting some rather heavy rain and thunder and lightening!
We are off to find a safe place to hide in!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Evening maties. We've not had any rain just yet but I gather there might be some on the way. Glad Eric and May and Wendy had their run. Very sorry to hear about Freddy. Those people at the Harrietsham ferret rescue will be very pleased to receive their donation from the crafty thong and just think of all the good they can do for the ferrets that they take in. I hope the storms miss where you are so that you don't have to hide too much, if you hide you might miss out on some muggings. My mum is just back from being magnatised, she said it wasn't too bad and they played nice music for her. We'll be having an early night because she has to go to work in the morning which means I'll be on guard duty. When she gets home, I'm off for a check up at the vets. Take care all. Lots of love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteSo far the weather hasn’t been too bad but we have heard many stories about the flood water and road subsidances, we have heard that the house in Walderslade that we left in 1984 had flood water right through the house, in the front door and out of the back, it made us feel sad. Sorry that poor Freddie is getting sleepy, he has had a lovely home with you and will be able to spend the rest of his life happy xx. I hope you have a peaceful night with no bangs and flashes poor loves. xxxxxx
