I manage another splosh!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Not such a sunny day today but as we are expecting some more rain later this week we will have to put up with the storms!

Eric and May came out with us this morning and Eric was having a right rampage through the grass. It was still wet from yesterdays rain and after a while Miss May decided she would rather be cuddled up in Old Two Legs arms until she got back to the football field when she was down on her paws and racing across the field!

Once we got home Eric was off searching for The Missuses 'Smoothies'!

He has something about those sponge things especially if they are covered in ink!

Lunchtime was fun, we left Wendy snoozing while Holly and I  went off for a sniff. Now, the tide was right in and I fancied a quick dip but OTL was just too close and he waved his finger at me and I got the message!

Well, how about a 'Little' paddle?
We wandered along the Sea Wall and sniffing at the sniffs. OTL got all interested in a snail wot was having a mid day snooze.

Holly said that the snail should be called Freddy on account he was snoozing at midday!

Doing a 'Freddy'!
I took advantage of OTL and the snail and ran ahead and down to the beach. As he disappeared over the horizon, in I went!

I had a splosh and managed to get my tummy all wet!

Holly, on the other paw did wot she always does and stayed off the beach!

The afternoon was spent snoozing while OTL got the paperwork ready for the accountant and he has informed us that we will be getting a wash and hair cut this weekend all ready for our holiday!

We don't mind the holiday bit, it's the wash and hair cut that we are not looking forward to!

Let's hope the rain misses us tomorrow!

We were tickled pink with Auntie Di's Happy Birthday song for Eric and she even got to mention the Poo!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well it's been not very nice here today, apart from no sun, my mum played a nasty trick on me this morning. We went out to the car and I thought we were going for a ride in case it rained but guess wot???? Well, she drove me to Caroline's house and in we went and I got put in the bath and rubbed and scrubbed, then combed and clipped. Now I wasn't expecting that, no one told me that was wot was going to happen today, am I happy chappy???? No I ain't!!!!!!!!! Now as you know, my boy is on nights this week so I'm chief guard woofer, now last night, me and my mum were in bed and just getting to snooze off when all of a sudden, I heard a nargle out the front of the house. Well I went into full guard mode and I growled and got right up close to my mum, she jumped out of bed and looked out the window and there it was, right by our front garden, the biggest, ugliest, most frightening type of monster that you ever did see, or as my mum said, it was a fox looking for a friend to play with. Well it must have heard my fiercesom growl cos off it went up the road. I'm glad you managed to have a quick splosh although why a woofer would willingly get wet is beyond me. Anyways, my boy has gone off to work so I'd better get guarding, have a lovely evening and hope you get some decent muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. That was a very sneaky splosh that you had, I do hope OTL wasn't too mad with you as it was nice and warm today. That snail is such pretty colours and as though he couldn't make up his mind what colour shell to have so he went all multi coloured, natures is so wonderful. Maybe the hair cuts will be just a small trim so you can show off to the Scottish about how beautiful you both are. Good job Archie was indoors when Mr Fox came to play or there would have been a real fight and all the neighbours would be awake! Has TM recovered from her weekend and the funds she managed to raise, that was a real achievement and I am sure they are going to be very grateful. Supposed to rain in the morning, Michael says at 2 am so be ready. xxxxxx
