Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty!
You can tell the holiday is getting closer, Old Two Legs has been catching up on the paperwork, paying all the invoices that will be due when we are away and getting in a stock of treats for us Woofers!
We were late getting up this morning due to Holly waking us up with her woofing. She had a Grumbly Tum that seems not to have got better, even after a whole 30ml tube of 'Bunging Up Paste'!
She has been booked into the vets for this evening together with Monty so he can have his Anti Distemper jab!
We also think that Holly's woofing at four this morning might have helped as well!
On our way out this morning, OTL stopped to look at the rose bush that grows in the hedgerow and took a picture of a flower that was just bursting!

We met up with a couple of Bozo types who are always pleased to see OTL and often offer to take the ferrets home for breakfast.
We are not too sure if they want to feed the ferrets some breakfast or have the ferrets for breakfast!

Monty and Wendy are still in that 'Unsure' state where they don't know if the other, (normally Wendy) is going to try to take a lump out of the other ferret, so they are moving around the cage very carefully and watching each other all the time!
There has been a couple of screams and scuffles but most of the time they have spent sleeping in their own cuddle cup and glaring at each other over the rim!
We are not sure they will be safe to leave in a smaller cage as we travel North, so OTL will take the carry cage to separate them when he is driving! Unless of course, they fall in love and spend Sunday all cuddled up together!
No, neither do we!
Good to hear Archie Babes Two Legs is getting herself sorted out, Archie Babe will have to be careful about guarding the house when she is away and make sure that Boy is kept informed of every small noise that is in or around the house at night, just like we do!

Yo maties. Well it's good news that Wendy is only glaring at Monty, that is an improvement in the state of things. I'm sure Monty will get braver and Miss Wendy will get more used to him and let him snuggle up soon. Tell him, little Arch said, man up Monty, them wimmin likes to be put in their place and dominated ........ that should do the trick, he'll have Wendy eating out of his paw in no time, either that or she'll eat his paw. Talking of eating, I went up the shop this morning for a walk and my mum didn't put my muzzle on me, I was such a good boy for the first 500 yards, then I sniffed a mugging, naturally I just had to dive on it before my mum could see it. Naturally I got my ear chewed with a telling off but I got it!!! Well when my mum is away I reckon I'm in charge so I might just tell my boy that he has to do all the guarding, I mean, it's no use having a boy and barking yourself is it. My mum has been giving him lessons on how to give me my tablets and make sure I take them, I did give him a hard time, I was laughing my tail off when he was trying to get me to take my pills, but because I'm such a good boy, I did take them eventually, now I don't play my mum about cos she would just poke them down my throat if I did, but he knows when my mum is watching, he has to be very good and he's not allowed to boss me. My mum has bought me a posh pill holder, so the days of the week is on it and it says morning, noon, evening and night but we don't need the night one at the moment. My mum left me with my boy while she went shopping this morning and do you know, he told big porky pies about me when she got home, he said I cried all the time she was out ........... wot a rotten snitch. He best be careful cos I'll be snitching on him. Loved the pictures today, good job OTL didn't sneeze or there would just be a picture of a stalk. Tell them bozos to get their own ferrets, wot a cheek wanting to take yours home. Hope Holly chops gets on alright at the vets and is soon over her grumblies, that paste is yukky but it does usually bung yer butt up. Hope Monty doesn't mind being stabbed as well, I mean he's only a little chap. Hope you all have a lovely evening with plenty of muggings and fingers crossed Miss Wendy soon wants a cuddle from Monty. ReplyDeleteHello little ones from the East, seems like reasonably good news with Monty I hope he settles in with Miss May very soon. Glad all the paperwork is getting done and the bills paid, I wouldn’t want the Baliffs to come calling and taking possession of a ferret or two. Seems Archies mum is getting his boy sorted out with his pill taking, he will need the luck of the gods, paws crossed. xxxxxx
