It's Getting Closer!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty Boy here!

It was just a little cool this morning but as the day grew so did the temperature!

Not Exactly the Brightest morning!

Eric and May were out as normal and again Miss May got all lazy and insisted on Old Two Legs carrying her for most of the way but she did have a run towards the end!

OTL has been busy getting all our stuff sorted and he has assembled the new ferret cages and has been playing about with ferret beds and water bottles and food bowls. You see they have their bottles and bowls attached to the side of the cage, just in case they do a poo in the bowl!

Not like us, our food and water is kept on the floor and we have fun shoving the bowls around just for fun!

After OTL had got most of it done he asked Eric to 'Try it Out' for size and accessibility!

Well, Eric has always told us his dad was a test pilot for submarines, (miniature that is!)

It was a bit of a squeeze but he managed to get around to the food and drink plus in and out of all the bedding!

So, that's them sorted for the holiday!

This morning OTL got all brave and allowed both Wendy and Monty Boy out in the office, together, and he even left the door open so Monty could explore the other rooms!

Well, the first thing he did was to have a poo in the shower!

Then he got chased all over the place by Wendy who is still planning to show him who is in charge!

When she got fed up chasing him and went downstairs for a snooze, Monty Boy had a great time in The Missus card storage room plus he did his Weasel War Dance all over our day beds and then had a dooking good time beating up the cat tease we have hanging up in the office!

Eric was going potty 'cos he had heard Wendy screaming and chasing Monty and wanted to join in the game as well!

OTL decided that would not be a good idea!

So, all in all it has been a busy day and as I sit here plonking away on the keyboard, I look to the left and see that Monty Boy is in one cuddle cup and next to him is Wendy in the other cuddle cup!

Wendy knows Monty is there 'cos I've seen her get up, go downstairs for a wee, come back up and peer into Monty Boys cuddle cup and sniff!

But she didn't attack him!

Progress!

We are off now for some dinner, ours 'cos Holly dog is supposed to be on a diet, no nibbles or munchy treats, Holly has got to loose a kilo!

Holly Chops is not a happy puppy and nor am I 'cos I can't have any treats either, I mean, I don't need to slim, I'm super just as I am!

Mind you, we do take more notice of the sniffs we find, well, you never know!

No, it's not edible, unless we get desperate!
 See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty Boy

  1. Yo maties. Well I would say that's progress if Wendy sniffed Monty in his cuddle cup and didn't attack him, Well done Wendy and we're pleased that Monty had a peaceful snooze. I do think young Eric could be more of a moral support for Monty, he could also offer him some advice. Loved the pictures today. Now about this losing weight stuff, I usually find that when I get a grumbly tum I lose weight, now to get a grumbly tum you have to eat lots of rubbish and things wot a woofer shouldn't eat, so there you go Holly chops, how to lose weight and then you can have your treats again. Of course there are some calorie free treats, like carrot and things like that so maybe all is not lost on the treat front. I've been getting quite good when I go out for my walks, I have sniffed a tasty morsel and eaten it before my mum can get it away from me, but then she usually puts the muzzle on me. I quite like some of the leaves in the garden but she's always there with the eyeball and comes charging over to take me away from them or only lets me out with the muzzle on. Glad to hear that test pilot Eric has given his seal of approval on the holiday cages. Now about these subs his dad used to test, were they from Greggs by any chance? Hope Hollys butt isn't so grumbly today and that Monty got on ok when he went to the vets. We've got a take away coming from the kebab shop so I'd better go and get ready to sniff in as many of the sniffs as I can. Have a lovely evening all and hope there are some muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
