Shopping Day Today!

Away The Noo!

It's us back again, McDaisy, McHolly, Miss MacMay, Miss MacWendy, Eric de McFerret and Monty McSporan!

Well, we woke up to the rain crashing down onto the caravan roof, wot a noise!

You know, it even woke Old Two Legs up and he can normally sleep through The Missus sorting out her craft stuff, and that makes a lot of noise!

We headed out for a walk first thing, complete with our rain coats on and to be honest, all we could manage was a wee!

After the wee it was straight back to the caravan and onto the bed that was still warm from when OTL had been snoozing!

It rained for most of the morning and when it did stop we got a walk with OTL but only just across the road way, a quick wee and a poo then back to the caravan at top speed!

The shopping trip into Campbeltown was a bit boring, we couldn't get out of the car 'cos there were double yellow lines everywhere and OTL didn't want to get a ticket, unlike the locals who were under the impression that double yellow lines were reserved for parking on!

We didn't get any treats, no doggy shops! A Co-op and a funny Tesco's bolted onto a garage we found but as much as we asked, no Annette TL could be found!

Back home there was a 'Window' of no rain so we went out for a run on the beach and OTL brought the ball throwing stick. I twas great fun chasing the ball but I got carried away and gave the ball a good Mullering!

Needless to say, the ball is not feeling very well, in fact it felt like it was going to pieces!

A Chewing Good Ball but it's now dead!
Well, to add insult to injury, the rain started again and off we went back to to caravan! When we got through the gate Holly and I caught the sniff of a rabbit and rain or no, we were after it like a rat up a drainpipe!

We didn't catch it, the rabbit disappeared into gorse bush and that was it, nothing to look forward to except a telling off from OTL!

The rain had started to ease but we could see on the horizon, a big squall of a shower heading our way!

It's going to get wet again!
Sunshine had been promised for late this afternoon so we might get a run with the ball throwing stick 'cos OTL has found a ball that just about fits into the stick!

Claws crossed we won't get too excited and chew this one up!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

McDaisy, McHolly, Miss MacMay, Miss MacWendy, Eric de McFerret and Monty McSporan!

  1. Och Aye the noooooooooo up there little McMaties. Well we had a few spots of rain but it didn't last. It's been sunny for quite a bit of the day but it's getting a bit dull now so maybe the rain is on its way down here, I do hope not though. Wot a shame about that ball and a bigger shame about not catching the bunny although we wouldn't want to see the bunny end up like the ball really. I wonder if that Annette TL went to the beach to look for Daisy and Holly 4 paws? Shame there were no nice shops selling woofer treats. That rain must have been noisy if it woke OTL seeing as how wot Mrs TL makes lots of noise and he sleeps thru it. I went for a walk very early this morning, so early I didn't see any of my woofer friends. I having an early night tonight cos I'm on guard duty in the morning when my mum goes to work, I might get my boy to share the guarding cos he's got the day off tomorrow. Have a lovely evening all and stay dry. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Hello there McPuddles, you sound as though you have had more than your fair share of rain. Here this morning was all sunny then it clouded over and we had a drizzle, we had to go out because I NEEDED some summery shoes on account of mine fell apart, off to Tesco Extra in Sandown and bought two pairs and the Saturday newspaper then back here for lunch. I hope the little ones are OK with just a rampage around the caravan, still it is different to the house, we are not very warm in the evenings and our friends put their fan heater on last night, their woofer Harry says woof woof to you. xxxxxx

  3. Helloooo there our holidaying friends in the North!
What a shame the weather has been so wet. It's been cold and showery here too but we have the promise of some better weather next week so we hope it gets to you too. We agree about the shops in Campbeltown but we think you missed the big(ish) Tesco. We usually walk to town along the promenade looking out for seals or park by the leisure center. There is a cheapy shop there too that sells doggy things. It's a bit like Poundland mum says with buckets and bins outside but it is a big shop inside and may have a new Tennis ball for your throwing stick. It's a shame that Annette TL wasn't about. She was probably at home waiting for a workman to come. (She keeps asking our Dad, but he says it's cheaper to pay someone than the cost of fuel to drive there). She has a big birthday in a few weeks and wants her house looking nice for her party and dad is going up early so he can do her 'jobs' before all the other family arrive.
we hope TM doesn't get you up too early tomorrow. We all get tired because that Hamish wakes us up at 5am every day for a wee. Then we all have to go back to bed until 6.30 when the TL's get up for work. Mum is getting very excited about seeing TM next weekend. She is already getting the bid suitcase out of the loft for all her craft stuff!!!! Wishing you lots of sunshine and rain-free days. Love, sniffs and wags and woofs from Izzy, Hamish, Bella and the 3 Hooligans. xxxxxxxxxxx
