The Day After The Storm!

Away The Noooo!

Here we are again, McDaisy, McHolly, Miss MacMay, Miss MacWendy, Eric de McFerret and Monty McSporan!

Well, wot a couple of days we have just had! Very strong wind and rain by the bucket load!

After all the, this morning when we checked, there was just one awning stake that had been pulled out of the ground!

It is still cloudy here but not too cold. I think we might get a couple of days dry weather before we get some more rain to wash the dust off the caravan!

Today The Missus has decided to slosh the glue about and has been making a terrible mess everywhere! You know, I have been having difficulty finding a place to snooze!

How am I going to roll over?
Mind you, Old Two Legs purchased, at great expense, one of those ball throwing sticks. It's just great! It means he can hurl a tennis ball for miles and Holly and I go tearing after it!

We had such a game this morning and even Holly managed to pinch the ball from me at one stage!

We had such fun that at eleven thirty I pretended I had the Grumble Tum and was in urgent need of a walk but as soon as we got to the beach I started to jump up at OTL doing my 'Throw the Ball' dance.

The big problem was, in his rush to get me and my Grumbly Tum out, he had forgotten the throwing stick!

I will have to reduce the 'Urgency' next time!

Still, we had the whole beach to ourselves and I even went in for a paddle!

Don't you just hate crowded beaches!
All the ferrets went out to the beach, Wendy and Monty were not too impressed but May and Eric had a super time ferreting in the grass after racing along the sandy beach!

Ferret racing on the beach!
This afternoon there were a couple of showers but we didn't mind, let's face it, we don't come to Scotland for the sunshine!

Tomorrow it looks like there is another load of rain arriving, so we will be going out in the car down to Cambletown to do some shopping, who knows, we might get some treats!

We were glad to see Auntie Sue has managed to control her iPlod Internetty Thingy Wottsit, we were getting worried she had fallen off the side of the world!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

McDaisy, McHolly, Miss MacMay, Miss MacWendy, Eric de McFerret and Monty McSporan!

  1. Och aye little Mcmaties. I'm glad to hear the weather has been a bit better today. Loved all the pictures. How lovely to have a beach all to yourselves. Now Daisy, you've got to stake your claim to your territory and let Mrs TM know she can't just pinch it all, that's not fair, she has to share with you all. Did you meet any nelly fish on the beach today? I hope you've told the ferrets to stay away from them. They look like they're enjoying their race. I hope you're getting some decent scoff up there. I was up early this morning cos my mum had to go to work, now I had an inkling that my boy was off today so I cried for a bit and guess wot...... it worked, he came down and we had snuggles on the sofa until my mum came home and took me up to bed for more snuggles. We've all been out for a nice walk this afternoon, we're training my boy into looking after me properly so that when my mum is away, he can look after me how wot my mum looks after me. We've almost got him trained in giving me my tablets and I only play him about a little bit now. Today my mum has brushed my teeth, cleaned my ears and put flea stuff on me, she says if I'm a good boy then I can have a teeth cleaning chew while she has her dinner. Anyways, paws crossed that there are no more storms and that you buy some treats tomorrow when you go shopping. Is Miss McWendy being nicer to Monty Macsporran now? Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Yes and here I am again although I do want to say too much and then it not publish. All read and Archie’s comments from today and yesterday, Michael has managed to put some pics on faceache so he is a happy bunny. Sorry about the rain and storm, we have sunshine but it is chilly and by 8 pm it is too cold to sit under our canopy so we go indoors with a drop of warming something. Make sure the ball throwing stick is with you and be careful of where you sit in case there is glue lying around, take care xxxxxx

  3. Greetings to all the Mc's Lovely photos. We've been catching up on your blog tonight Daisy. Hamish says that he's glad you're having fun on his beach (honestly just because he used to live in Campbeltown for a few months when he lived with Dad's mum. I think it has gone to his head. We're glad that you all survived the Storm Hector. Good job OTL put that robe on the awning. Mum hopes that all TM's craft stuff was safe. We've had the storms here too and lost a panel from the greenhouse. Luckily it is plastic and stayed attached with a strip of the Gaffer tape that held it on last time. Gusts of 70mph here and tree branches everywhere. Enjoy your time in Campbeltown and if you see a lady called Annette please say hello. She live near the secondary school (but likes to shop in Tesco and the Co-op) and sometimes the deer come down from the hills and eat her flowers. Have to go now as it is dentastix at bedtime. Glad you're all having fun. love sniffs, wags and woofs from Izzy, McHamish, Bella and the 3 Hooligans. xxxxxxx
