Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Mad Monty!
We have decided that Monty is a bigger coward than me! Like, I rush off on another path if I see any other woofers coming along the same path as we are on but Monty is something else!
Old Two Legs put Monty into the cuddle cup this morning after cleaning the cage. Monty was a little tired after the rampage around the house and quickly fell asleep. Miss Wendy was wide awake and ferreting about around the cage and the food bowl!
OTL had an idea!
He picked up Wendy and slid her into the cuddle cup next to Monty. Miss Wendy sniffed the back of his head the proceeded to lick his ear.
Now, in ferret world that is a very, very friendly thing to do.
Monty just sort of 'came too' realised what Wendy was doing and flew out of the cuddle cup like his tail was on fire!
If ever there was a moment when his life was going to change it was then and he blew it!
Well, at least they aren't fighting! |
Are We There Yet? |
Monty though it all good fun and followed Holly and I as we went hunting sniffs in the long grass!
What sniff you found? |
Funny shaped petals! |
Heavy going this is! |
Is it him? |
See you tomorrow!
Luv, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty!
Yo maties. Well I've listened to the weather forecast and they reckon we might get thunder storms tomorrow, now I know Holly chops doesn't like thunder so warn her it's coming so she knows not to be too scared. Now I don't blame Monty, he might have thought that Miss Wendy was having a pre taste lick to see if he was tasty enough to have a nibble on. See sometimes you just can't trust a woman. Loved all the photographs today, specially the ones with you lot in them. Well our 2 big trees have been taken down, there's lots of sniffs up that end of the garden and I've been busy sniffing them but so far there are no rolly sniffs to be found. I'm quite tired cos it's been a long day, first of my mum had to take down all the bamboo screening, then she had to put it back after the tree chaps went. Then there was other jobs to do where she'd cleared a path for them to drag the trees out, and I've been supervising all this. My boy wasn't much help, he went out for an 11 mile walk to burn off some calories for the Chinese takeaway they both scoffed, plawn clackers, flutterby king plawns andlemon chicken with flied lice........ do you know I didn't get so much as a sniff of any of it, how mean is that? I would have gone on the walk with my boy but I'm limited to 20 mins per walk and I don't reckon he could do 11 miles in 20 minutes so I let him go alone. I'm off to bed early cos I'm on guard duty in the morning when my mum goes to work, mind my boy is home again tomorrow so maybe I'll let him help with the guarding. I went up the shops this morning, didn't manage to get close enough to the parma violets to rob a packet today though, I did manage to get a price tag on my nose though from sniffing round the floor. I chased a squirrel out of the garden when I got home, wonder wot they're going to do now cos they can't sit up in our trees and swear at me and call me names anymore cos the trees ain't there, still I suppose they can sit in the trees in the garden wot backs on to mine. Hope you all have a lovely evening and I hope Mrs TM and OTL aren't as mean with their muggings as my mum and my boy have been. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteYou must change Monty’s to Billy then you could call him Silly Billy, what a silly Monty he is all the buying signs of friendship and what does he do? You and Holly did very well with your guarding, I would not have ventured down your path if I had seen you, well done. Has TM been playing with these new kitchen things, are they glued and glittered yet and what about the bread bin has it been coloured with those distressed oxide stuff? I told Michael that you said it will rain tomorrow and he said, “What does she know, she is only a dog, they pay people thousands of pounds and they get it wrong so why would a DOG know better”. I was shocked that he thought such a thing and will look out for some rain, your honour is as stake. That Archie has been busy, maybe you two should go over to see him because he has some homeless squirrels that might be worth a chase. His Chinese Takeaway sounded nice, made me feel hungry and poor little woofer only had a near miss with a label. xxxxxx
