It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
It has been rather muggy today. It didn't help that last night Holly was woofing to go out, not to chase cats, foxes or hedgehogs but rather a Grumbly Tum!
It still didn't help Old Two Legs who nearly fell down the stairs to let Holly out!
That also meant that we were up late, in fact very late and we got down the sea shore almost two hours later than normal!
There were a few of the lads sniffing the sniffs but they were miles ahead of us, so we didn't get the chance to say hello!
Holly and I kicked up a rabbit and spent a good ten minutes chasing it around some bushes!
It wuz 'ere, I saw it! |
'Morning Cinnabar Caterpillar! |
Standing is easier than hovering when your 10mm long! |
So, we stayed in the car and just blew raspberries at them!
Back home it was just a little cooler indoors and we saw Monty and Wendy all cuddled up on the hammock snoozing their tails off!
I'll be glad of a few drops of rain, just a few to cool us down! |
Monty and Wendy played at blowing bubbles and Monty got his tummy wet but again, as soon as OTL dunked him into the water he was all paws and legs to get out!
Maybe they will enjoy it tomorrow!
Bye for now!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
Yo maties, wot super pictures today, specially Monty and Wendy all cuddled up and snoozing. I hope Holly is over her grumbly tum, it's not nice, specially in the middle of the night, mind I did need a wee in the middle of the night, well that's wot I told my mum, I get the feeling she didn't believe me cos she put my lead on so that I could run all over the garden, well I managed to squeeze out a little wee but really I just wanted to make sure there weren't any foxes in my garden. It was a bit cooler out there at that time though, I really am fed up with all this sun, so I've been staying inside in the cool and letting the fan blow on me. My mum and my boy have got the next couple of days off so we can wrestle and things which will be nice. I reckon you and Holly chops need a male escort to come with you when you visit places with big hairy woofers wot look like they might eat you. I'm willing to come and guard you both. How is Miss Mays eye doing? I think I need to go and get some scoff now, so have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteOoooohhhh me again, I forgot to tell you about my mate Boris the bounce, well his TL came in the shop this morning and my mum was giving Boris his treats and his TL said he shouldn't be getting any cos Boris, stole 5 sausage rolls yesterday wot was for his TL's tea. Now, Boris told my mum that no one saw him take them, they was just going by him licking his lips ........... my mum reckons Boris is too good a chap to go and steal his TL's tea cos she reckons Boris is a goodie two shoes. xxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteHi my southern friends in the hot baking sun. We've had some cooler days lately with much needed rain. My mum's heading down your way on Wednesday so she might be in touch and pay you and TM a visit. It is really good news to see Monty and Miss May all cuddled up. Our news is that we are gradually getting our summer haircuts. Tommy, Hamish and I now look like sheep and Lady and Genie have their turn tomorrow. I also heard mum on the phone to the Vet earlier and I heard her mention my name so I think I'm going to be stabbed tomorrow. Anyway it's nearly dental-chew time and bed is calling. Licks, sniffs, woofs and sniffs from Izzy, Hamish, Bella and The 3 Hooligans. Ps we love OTL's photos of the insects, especially the dragon fly with the hairy chin xxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to see Miss May and Monty all cuddled up together even in the heat. I do hope Holly’s tum is better, it could be the heat is getting to her. More pictures from that lens, they are good but not only are they very good it takes a good pair of eyes and patience to gets results. The rabbits must be feeling the heat as well, this morning Michael was watching the weather forecast on the kitchen tv and I thought she was by a Kentish field recently harvested but it was Hyde Park and the ground was supposed to be grass! Archie is doing a sterling job of fox hunting and would not eat a sausage roll even offfered to him, no, he must be joking! Looks like you could be getting a visitor make sure you give the sad starving eyes look, get practicing xxxxxx
