A Ferrety Friday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back with you again!

We love Fridays, you can just feel the weekend arriving!

The morning is still the same old run around but the afternoon sort of slows down and gets more comfortable as the evening gets closer!

Mind you, Miss May started off getting into the weekend a little earlier than normal. You see after rampaging around the house she curled up in Old Two Legs arms and being in a nice comfortable spot, she just drifted off into snooze land!

There are some places that are so comfortable that they just call out for a snooze!
We had a good walk at lunch time and the tide was right in!

I was planning to go in for a swim but OTL called me to his side, told me that he had his eye on me and if there was just one wrong step towards the sea I would be spending the afternoon getting showered followed by a hair cut!

Hair cut? After the last one I felt I was bald!

So, I had to spend my time guarding the ferrets instead of a swim!

Monty and Wendy were having a stroll along the Sea Wall and Monty decided that he wanted to have a 'Ferret' in the grass, so, the next thing was to get up to the grass which is not as easy as you would think when your legs are just two inches long!

I just wish my legs were........................
Things just don't always go the way you plan, as Monty shows us!

.................Longer!
He made it in the end and Miss Wendy joined him, after OTL gave her a lift up the steps!

Together they headed off up the Grass Path, sniffing and ferreting as only a ferret can!

Sniffs to the left, Sniffs to the right, Just sooo many Sniffs!
All this running around leaves the ferrets all tired and in need of a snooze, so, it's back home and after a run, back to bed for a well earned Friday Snooze!

Holly and I are standing guard outside the cages making sure none of them escape and pinch our Doggy Scoff, mind you, it's not that brilliant and we only eat it when there is nothing else to eat!

See you tomorrow, providing we don't starve to death on Doggy Scoff!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well things didn't quieten down here this afternoon like wot it did at yours. Me and my mum were up early this morning and I went for a walk up the shop to see Brenda and get a cuddle and a treat, I gave her lots of kisses. Then my mum had to go over town to pick up my boy cos he'd ordered a new toy and the box was so big he needed a lift home. Then the 2 piggies had bacon rolls. Then I sent my mum out to the garden cos the foxes had tried to get thru so she needed to make a few adjustments so that they can't even poke their noses thru now. The I told my mum the washing needed doing, then I told her to go and pick up Brenda and Miss Milly and take them to the vets. Now Miss Milly tried to bungee jump off the table in the vets, but she was alright and the vet said her paw is completely better now and she can go to the groomers next week to get a bath and have her hair done. I've had a very busy day wot with supervising my mum and then guarding while she was out. Me and my boy have had lots of wrestles today. It's his and Mrs boys anniversary tomorrow, they've been married 3 years. I've been up to a bit of mischief so that my mum doesn't get bored, I mean I can't have her sitting there with nothing to do. Loved the pictures today, it looks like OTL might have been having a little snooze with Miss May. You could suggest to Monty that he gets a pair of stilts for his walks then it would make him a bit taller and he might get up those steps a bit easier. Shame OTL wouldn't let you have a dip, haven't you explained to him that by having a dip you wouldn't need to have a bath cos you'd come out nice and clean. Hope you get something a bit better than doggie scoff for your supper. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
