Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!
It has been another lazy day today. Old Two Legs has been 'Manufacturing' again and rushing around taking stuff to the carrier.
He has been back and forwards all day! Just when he gets an order packed and down to the carrier, the customer sends another email with a few items added to the list! I would tell them to make sure everything was ordered, at the same time, and no messing about but OTL just says 'Thank you for your order'!
Miss May and Eric were out first thing this morning and although Eric was bouncing along the path, Miss May decided that a cuddle in OTL's arms was the best idea! She stayed like that for most of the walk, only getting down for a small run at the end of the walk!
Back home she was let out for a rampage around the house but as normal, she found somewhere warm to curl up and have a snooze before OTL took her back to her bed!
Lunchtime Monty and Wendy were out, even though there were a few drops of rain in the air!
To begin with they both had a run on the football field but soon m=Miss Wendy got a rain drop on her nose and in a flash she was in the ferret bag!
Monty stayed out a little longer but in the end he decided to get in as well.
OTL had to put his hand inside the bag so Monty could sit in the seat OTL had made with his hand and after some wriggling about, Monty made himself comfortable and Monty settled down to watch the world go by!
This is the way to do it! |
Wot I don't like is the ticks that sometimes used to set up camp on us. We are lucky that OTL has found some stuff he squirts onto our shoulder blades and that seems to keep the ticks away. We get a dose a month before then another dose the month we go away on holiday and claws crossed, no ticks!
As for going down holes, yes, well, I do like that especially if the is a rabbit in there!
OTL does his best to keep us out of the holes but sometimes we spot a rabbit and, well, off we go!
Mind you, once he finds us we get told off and then are put on the lead for the rest of the walk.
Sometimes I wonder if the brief rabbit hunt is worth the restricted walk afterwards!
Curry tonight! That means a taste of gravy soaked Naan Bread!
Yum Yum!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
Wotcha maties. I had a later walk this morning cos it was raining first thing and as you know I don't do WET. The rest of the day has been fine. Now these customers need to realise wot a busy chap OTL is and he hasn't got time to keep going backwards and forwards to the carriers, he's got vip woofers and ferrets to be walking and cleaning and feeding and cuddling. Smashing picture of Monty, wot a handsome chap he is. We've had a bit of a mixed day today, sometimes busy and sometimes chilled but we haven't had time for a siesta. We've done a bit of cleaning and a bit of gardening and a bit of shopping and we both felt a bit snoozy. Tomorrow my mum will be taking Brenda and Miss Milly back for a check up, Brenda says Milly is fine now and her paw isn't swollen any more and the cut the vet made is healing well. Hope OTL enjoys his curry and hope you enjoy your naan bread dipped in the sauce. Hope you all have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely picture of Monty enjoying all the treats of a carry while watching the world go by. Poor OTL working, carrying, working, carrying, his customers need to make their minds up in the first place because OTL has important duties to carry out and can’t keep going backwards and forwards. Hope you enjoyed the naan bread dipped in sauce, very tasty, we keep having strawberries with Greek yogurt which includes honey, very nice, Morrisons sales must have gone upwards. Good for Millie getting her paw better, those grass seeds are nasty little demons. xxxxxx
