Hi Woofers!
Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
It has been a gentle day today, not too hot, not too cold, in fact a very pleasant day all in!
Well, it would have been if not for Dopey Old Two Legs!
You see, there he was cleaning out the ferret cages and he started off with May and Eric who, while the cleaning was going on, had a super rampage around the house making as much mischief as possible.
Not hard if you are a ferret I might add!
Well, cage clean and time to go back for a snooze. Next get Monty and Wendy out for a rampage and a cage clean.
That was all OK right up to the point that Monty and Wendy had to go back in the cage.
OTL gave a little call for them and up turns Monty.
OTL picks up Monty, shoves him into the cage and heads off down stairs to find Wendy.
He made it to the door before there was a screaming war cry from Monty, Eric and Miss May.
OTL had put Monty back into the wrong cage and Eric and May were combining their efforts to kick Monty out again!
It was good that OTL only managed to get to the office door or else there might have been fur flying all over the place!
No injuries just a load of 'Fear Farts' and evil mumblings from all the ferrets!
Miss May seemed most put out that Monty had invaded her sleeping cuddle cup and of course, Monty was only trying to get her out of what he thought was Wendy's cuddle cup!
OTL managed to sort it all out and with the help of some Ferretone, peace now reigns in the household again!

Yo maties. Well wot a plonker, fancy putting Monty in the wrong cage with Miss May the marauder and Eric the eager. I bet you wish you could have rolled in the sniffs that flew around the office. Did Miss Wendy come to see wot all the fuss was about? Glad to hear they've all settled down and no inury was done. Did you and Holly chops have front row seats? I had a very busy morning today, I went for an early walk up the shops then came home and supervised while my mum did some jobs, then I guarded while she went and did the scoff shopping. I did the quality control sniff of the shopping when she got home. I was creamed by then so I suggested we had a siesta, my mum was up for a snooze as well. Well there hasn't been any poo in my garden for the last 3 days so I reckon my mum might have cracked the problem. I can still find other sniffs to roll in though, in fact I've had lots of rolls round the garden over the last couple of days, there seems to be quite a few dead worms on the surface, I reckon they hadn't learnt to swim and so when we had lots of rain they might have drowned, they make a nice rolly sniff though. We're having a lazy evening tonight. We've had a report on Miss Milly's bad paw and it seems that it's healing well and she's walking on it now, although she did have a grumbly tum during the night and got Brenda up 4 times but that seems to have got better during the day so paws crossed they both get a good nights snooze tonight. ReplyDeletePresumably Wendy was downstairs laughing her socks off at all the commotion, not the first time OTL has been in too much of a hurry and got it a bit wrong. If only TM would be in such a rush when dishing out dinners that she put OTLs dinner in your bowl and gave him doggie scoff, see if he likes the swap! The weather has been off and on, Michael has said several times that the sun was shining only to tell me that it had gone again. Good news from Archie about Milly and the sore paw, I told his mum that a Scottish woofer went down into s rabbit warren and had to be rescued by the Mountain Rescue, he was there for about 4 hours, they detected his heart beat from the surface and dug down to get him out. You tell that Holly to keep her nose out of the holes, the ferrets are on leads so wouldn’t go far. I don’t want to hear about her on the 1 o’clock news although she might like the stardom. xxxxxx
