Catching up!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here again!

Sorry about yesterday, we were so busy during the day helping Old Two Legs do all his filing of paper and then getting all the computer ready for his next 'Trading Year' we were just too late to do the Diary, well, that and the fact OTL decided to celebrate and got in a super Chinese Takeaway with loads of Plawn Clackers and King Plawns!

I must admit, we made little pigs look polite!

When we went out for our walk, OTL decided to take the Infrared Camera with him 'cos it really looks good when the sun is shining!

Mind you, the results are a bit like Marmite, you know, love it or hate it!

We love Marmite!

What do bunnies look like in Infrared?
Mind you the sniffs on the football field were unaffected by infrared, the only one who was affected was OTL who told us off when we went for a roll!

Come on, there's another sniff over here!
OTL was still playing with the camera looking for and artistic shot!

A path to nowhere!
Down at the Sea Wall we though there could be a chance of a swim but when we got there we found the sea was somewhere near the horizon!

Well, it was here this morning!
We headed up to the Grass Path and met up with young Zeus who after a sniff decided he wanted to play 'Chase' so we joined in for a while, until we all got to hot to continue!

Nothing like a game of Chase!
After a while Zeus was called away which to be honest, we didn't mind 'cos we we almost worn out!

We headed for the picnic table where there was some shade to relax under while OTL was trying to photograph a Red Darter Dragonfly, without much success!

Do you think it is compulsory for TL's to do that?
Back home the ferrets were fast asleep. To keep them cool OTL had put a frozen pack under their beds which as far as a ferret is concerned, is heaven!

So, a Sunday well spent, now we got some chicken to look forward to tonight.

Then an early night and with a bit of luck, an early morning run on the beach!

Holly has been looking at the calendar and reckons we have just over five weeks before we are on holiday again and with a bit of luck, we may still have this good weather!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret

  1. Yo maties. Well I'm glad you're all ok, I did miss you last night. Sounds like you've had a really good day and OTL has been very busy with his camera. It's been really hot here today so I went out very early for my walk, bumped in to a little chap called Bert who was very nice and told me where I could find some nice sniffs and I bumped into a bozo Labrador, who didn't tell me where there were any decent sniffs. My mum has been a bit poorly today so I've been looking after her, we're having an early night and my boy is back to work tomorrow so we need to get my mum back to being fighting fit tonight. Glad you managed to snag some of the Chinese, enjoy your chicken tonight. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Greetings my southern friends. Firstly we are sending really, really, really big get well wishes to Little Archie's Mum. We hope that she feels much much better soon. Now OTL is getting us all confused with his infra-red lens because he makes all the trees look frosty and like it is winter time. It has been scorching hot up here today. Our TL's have been busy cleaning and scrubbing making the house all ready for our lovely friend Carole who has come to look after us for the next week while Mum and Dad are on their holibobs to a hot island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea. We say that they might as well stay at home but apparently they have to fly on an aeroplane to get there and there is a swimming pool. We love Carole, she gives us lots of cuddles, really long walks and we can wrap her around our little claws to get extra treats too. Mum and Dad will only go away if Carole can look after us but they say that they will miss us lots. Hope you enjoyed your chicken. Lots of licks, sniffs and woofs from Izzy, Hamish, Bella and the 3 Hooligans (who are growing up to not really be hooligans any more).
PS. We won't be able to write much unless we can get Carole has brought her tablet and will help us type. Xxxxxxxxxx

  3. I missed you yesterday as well, I kept looking and it was still Friday, no Saturday and then suddenly it is Sunday, oh so confusing, still here you are and all the paperwork done and plawn quackers for a treat, you never invited me, booo hooooo. Now Archie’s mum, come on and get better soon, we don’t like to hear that you are poorly and we can’t help you 💖 xx. Michael thought it had been snowing down Godwin Towers way until I told him it was OTL playing about with his infrared thingy, I like the gate at the end of the path best and which ever one it was under the picnic table looks very ferocious. Nice to see news from Izzy, Hamish and Co and glad that they are able to have some of the good weather, I hope their mum and dad have a good holibob, just don’t take the good weather with them, leave ours here and find their own in the big seaside place. Perhaps you could get some of those ice packs for yourselves, sounds a good idea, stay cool and I hope the chicken was d e l i c i o u s. 🐔 🐓 xxxxxx
