Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here again!
Well, I don't know about you but we have had a very hot day down here. At lunch time after our walk we had to drop some stuff off at the carriers. As we got close to the carrier, Old Two Legs took a look at the dashboard menu and saw that the outside temperature was thirty two and a half degrees!
The air conditioning doesn't work too well in the big car so it felt as hot inside as it was outside!
You know we had to open the windows to get some fresh air!
This morning we had a gentle breeze but the sky was cloudless, so we knew to expect a day for hunting out the best shade!

There was OTL, jumping up and down and promising me all sorts of doom and gloom and a severe wash!
Well, I pretended not to have heard him but I stayed out of the mud and climbed back up onto the Sea Wall!

The rest of today has been spent hunting out cool dark places!
It was good to hear Archie Babes TL is back and up to speed, it's amazing what they can do with a new pair of grey/green stockings!
The only problem Holly can see is that if they are too tight, you could end up with a double chin and soon you'll end up looking like a British Bulldog!
It has cooled down enough for me to go looking for my dinner, so I'll say bye, bye for now and 'see you tomorrow'!

Yo maties. It's been a hottie here as well. I went for a walk very early and bumped into Milly and Brenda so I had a walk with them, I didn't go quite as far as them cos my mum took off the magic stockings this morning and she's been a bit floppy ever since. I reckon it was them stockings wot was holding her up. My boy went for a walk to town and did the shopping while me and my mum had a siesta, then I woke my mum up when he came home by wagging my tail until she heard it thumping on the bed. She reckons she's quite sore today so I've told her to put the stockings back on cos I reckon they're a miracle cure. Loved the pictures today, Daisy you are a tease, fancy making OTL think you were going to have a mud bath, mind they do reckon mud is good for the complexion. I remember that mud bath I had when I came down there and then I remember the horror of OTL hosing me down to get the mud off so that my mum didn't see wot I'd done. There's a Chinese take away on the menu tonight so I reckon there will be some plawn clackers on offer, now I've been very good looking after my mum so I reckon I should get a few. Hope Holly enjoyed her roll in the sniff, is she looking for a hot dog sniff tomorrow? I suppose I'd better go and make sure my mum orders the right dinner from the Chinese. ReplyDeleteWe are in New Romney so didn’t read last night but I haven’t missed your Diary and so pleased that Archie’s mum is home, problem is she will try to do too much because she is used to being in charge. Archie is going to have to be a very good boy and not do anything wrong that might upset her, problem two is can he be expected to behave? A very hot Friday followed by a not so hot Saturday and not mud bath for my furry friend, can’t say I was upset by that! Be good, all of you??? xxxxxx
