We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
Well, what a change it was this morning. We woke up and it was still all warm inside the bedroom and office. So, another warm and muggy day!
We got out and Old Two Legs took his fleece with him! Did he know something we don't?
Down on the football field the wind was blowing in from the West and blowing the trees about all over the place!
Just look at those leaves turning over in the wind! |
Now it wasn't too bad, I mean, we didn't go wobbly with the heat and the sniffs were still there, even after the rain that came down last night.
Not that we heard it, we were too busy snoozing!
Lunchtime the clouds blew away and the sun came out and it was warm enough for OTL to leave his fleece in the car!
The tide was out so bang goes the swim!
I don't know what it is but it's got a strange sniff! |
Hey! I can sniff some serious Koffte Kebabs! |
Dinner tonight for OTL will be curry, so no chance of mugging him!
The ferrets have been sleeping most of the time because of the heat but if the weatherman is correct, we should be getting some cooler weather over the next week or so and who knows, they may get a chance to get out for a run!
I'm off to see if the Doggy Scoff looks any better, who knows, it might even taste better!
See you tomorrow Woofers!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
Yo maties. Well it's been a bit cooler here as well and we've had a bit of breeze but it's still too hot for me and my mum. I went out for an early walk while it was still cool and I met Miss Milly and Brenda and we walked together discussing sniffs, then we bumped into Boris the bounce who bounced all around us and told us wot sniffs he'd found up the road. My mum has done a bit more fencing today as she saw a fox eyeing up a corner where he might get in, so far it's foxes 0 - mum 8 so we're winning, but we want to make sure they can't get in and poo in my garden cos that's my pooing space and no one else's. Glad to hear it was a bit cooler down your way, we didn't get any rain yet though. Now wot's this, a bit strapping chap like OTL needing his fleece??? Loved the pictures today. Shame about the doggie scoff, now come on Daisy, when did doggie scoff ever look good???? probably to a woofer who hasn't seen a morsel in a week, it might but .......... ewwwww doggie scoff. I bet the ferrets will be pleased to get out and stretch their little legs and find some nice sniffs. Well my mum is off for a bath and I'm going to be standing guard outside the door so that no one can nick the bath while my mums in it. Hope you all have a lovely evening and maybe OTL might dip his naan bread in his curry so you can both have just a little snackette. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippersxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteCertainly was cooler today, we went out and took our rainmacs as we were on the bus we felt safer but as it was no rain and not much in the way of buses either. We left here at 12-45 and arrived at 14-00 after the meeting had started and coming back was no better, getting from Rochester to Chatham that was easy but we saw more of Chatham than we intended and got home just on 5 pm or 17-00 in new money!
ReplyDeletePity about the doggie scoff,I suppose OTL has to await the cheque clearance before he can splash it. It will be nice for the ferrets to go out for a run they are so used to it that I bet they are feeling stir crazy being indoors although the card room is an adventure in itself. You and Holly would have a lovely time in there and you never know you might find something that TM lost ages ago and she would be so pleased that she wouldn't mind clearing up all the mess. I hope Archie's did well on guarding the bath, I think they are quite difficult things to steal especially when they are plumbed in. Still it takes his mind off those apples! xxxxxx
