Relax, it's Saturday!

Hi Woofers!

We're back again! Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

After all that rain yesterday and last night it has been good to see the sun and feel the gentle breeze on a woofers nose!

Even if it has the sniff of Kebab from somewhere up the river!

This morning the sky was almost clear of any clouds, just a few fluffy things in the distance that didn't bother us at all!

How mornings should be, all year long!
We met up with Meg who was out with her Two Legs. We all had a sniff and caught up on the 'Sniff News' and discussed the big German Shepherd Dog that was woofing in the distance, he's only six months old and yet to learn his manners!

Yep! I can hear him, he's a Big Baby Bozo GSD!
Back home The Missus had gone up the Village Hall for another Master Class in Glue Splashing and Glitter Sniffing!

I don't know just how she manages to get it all in her hair and around her nose! In the evening when the side lights are switched on, she looks like a family of Glow Worms flying around!

Lunchtime we were down the Sea Wall again and Old Two Legs found a Chalkhill Blue that kept on flying around, then landing on the same plant. So, there was OTL, kneeling in front of the plant while this Chalkhill Blue kept flying around and landing for a slurp.

OTL wanted him to open his wings out fully but it refused, so this was the best shot he could get!

You are lucky I have landed so be quick or I'll fly off again!
So, not the best but worth showing you what a Chalkhill Blue looks like!

We had the same trouble with the Large White we came across. These butterflies seem never to land for more than two seconds, so it's a real pain trying to get a shot but today one landed just ahead of OTL and he swooped in and managed just one click of the camera, pity it was from the back but you can't always get them posing as you want!

OK, let's look at the map again!
We just loved the description of Archie Babe trying to look innocent while standing there with a mouth full of Love Hearts!

He has just got to be quicker than that!

Mind you, we have been taught not to pinch stuff unless it is for us but that doesn't stop us from pinching each others 'Treats' like Rawhide Chew, Jumbones and Teeth Cleaning Chews!

There is normally a punch up going on at the same time plus OTL telling us off for making such a noise!

OTL has been promised a Kebab tonight, so, if we are in luck, we may get a little bit of Kebab to nibble on!

It was good to see that Auntie Sue managed to stay afloat down in the wilds of Romney Marsh. You have to watch out for sneaky Tsunami's down that end of the world. I remember when Holly and I were down there and Holly fell into a ditch and came up almost jet black with the mud that stuck to every bit of her!

She didn't like the shower she had when she got back to the caravan!

Happy Days!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. It's been quite a nice day here, sunny but not hot and a bit of a breeze. Now I did try again this morning to nab either a packet of parma violets or love hearts but my mum had the evil eye on me so no chance to practice eating them quick. I got lots of fuss made of me in the shop this morning and I got some treats as well, on the way home I bumped into Miss Milly and Brenda and we had a chat. My mum popped off to the TL vet this morning but came back grumbling and saying he was as much use as a chocolate teapot, so I'm guessing he weren't much help to her. She's been busy snoozing most of the day but I've tried to keep her active by telling her it's scoff time every 20 minutes, I reckon she don't believe me now. Loved the pictures today, my mum has been trying to get some pictures of flutterbys but they've been much too quick for her. That little Meg looks quite a nice little woofer. My boy is getting a take away tonight, not sure wot he's going to order but I'll be on sniffing duty as soon as it arrives. Hope Mrs TM had a good day with her glue and glitter. Hope Mrs Sue and Mike managed to see some nice kites. Have a lovely evening and paws crossed you manage to snaffle a bit of kebab. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Here we are back to see what you have been up to, wonder if we could borrow TM all that glittering would save us money on the electricity. There was a diver man here, a big dice, a pair of ladies legs and numerous other kites that have been bought at the festival and children rushing around making them sort of fly. Our fish and chips were delicious probably the best we have ever had and it didn’t drizzle until they were all gone, give you an idea of how much we had the bill was £139.00, you get quite a lot for that! Kebab on the wind is very enticing so I hope that kebab on the doggie bowl comes your way. Lovely flutterby and one I haven’t heard of and a nice woofer you met up with. Sorry Archie’s mum didn’t much joy from the TL vet, chocolate teapots are very nice but not much use for making tea. Maybe the little shop should rearrange its shop with doggie scoff on the lower level it would help keep him out of trouble, if that is possible. Good night from Teston Country Park, New Romney was last week. xxxxxx
