It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back again.
Hey now, did you read yesterday about Archie Babe and the pickled onion?
Now we know he is a bit of a guts as far as food is concerned. We well remember him staying with us for a day and nearly clearing us out of Nosh and Home!
But, A Pickled Onion?
I mean, didn't he even sniff it first? I mean they must be the most foul sniffing or tasting thing next to a Nargels Poo!
We would have thrown it back up before it reached our tummy!
The only redeeming feature is the fact the vet didn't charge for the inspection and consultation!
Down here they would have robbed Old Two Legs till his wallet had a heart attack!
This morning the sun was up but we managed to grab a shot which OTL reckons shows up the reflections on the mud.
Mud reflecting?
Reflecting or reflective mud? |
Mind you, that ferret bag is just right when the frost is around or the winter wind is blowing!
Wake me when we get there! |
It's not a weasel, so it must be a Nargle! |
We couldn't find anything wrong and The Missus had already been out checking the hot water and the heating was working 'cos we reckon that it may just be a little chilly where we are going, being on the West Highland coast and all!
After that was all done we headed off to the Sea Shore and I was pleased to see the tide was in. I wasn't too pleased when OTL put the lead on me, just to stop me from diving into the water for a splash about!
The ferrets got out of the bag and were having a sniff looking for Nargles and other beasties!
I could do with some ferret sized steps here! |
No, I will NOT be having a dip while I am waiting, thank you very much! |
He won't sit down for a week!
Can I have a sniff Holly, after you of course! |
We got chicken waiting for us tonight, so just for once, we got some good scoff, mind you, there are no pickled onions in the bowl!
See you all tomorrow.
Just remembered, OTL has the dentist tomorrow, the final bit of drilling and poking about, so, he should be ready for the holiday and if he gets any pain, then some pills or a bottle of malt whisky should sort him out.
I know what he would prefer!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
Archies pickled onion story will go world wide, after all which sane woofer would actually eat a Pickled Onion, jury is out on that one. Glad the caravan is ready and the hot water has been checked, if it is cold when you get there it will be TMs fault, OTL is clever like that getting the boss so give it the seal of approval!
ReplyDeleteWe have been on a Land Train today to the town, it is kept at where we are staying and you get to travel free out at 9-15 am and back in at 4 pm no matter how old you are. Had a lovely day, Michael took a few pictures and tomorrow we are going in a mini bus to little places that coaches can’t reach. Saves driving and paying parking charges also the car parks in Newquay were full up this morning.
You need to get the Council to build some ferret steps for your little ones, rotten luck being put on a lead, still you managed a dip last time so can’t grumble too much. Looking forward to seeing you holiday pictures and some of TMs wonderful inspired work xxxxxx
Yo maties. Loved all the pictures today. Tell Eric if he keeps looking for nargles, one might find him and I don't think he'll be too happy at meeting one face to face. Good to see that Monty and Wendy had a nice time out with you, that little Monty is clever sticking close to Holly chops, cos she'll protect him against nargles and things. Now so far I haven't had a taste of nargle poo so I don't know if it tastes like pickled onions but I have to say, I did enjoy it, it had a bit of a bite back and a smack to it. Sadly my mum hasn't had another ploughmans and she says she'll put me in my cage if she has anymore pickled onions with her scoff so if another one jumps off the plate I won't be able to get it. I'm pleased to say I didn't get any grumbly tum last night, in fact, I slept very well, my mum reckons I was snoring for England. Good to hear you had a nice bowl of chicken. I bet you're all looking forward to your super holibobs, good to get things checked out so that you can keep warm if it does turn chilly up there. Hope OTL gets on ok with the dentist tomorrow, my mum has to go on Thursday. I reckon a bottle of the nice stuff would be far better than some tablets if he does get a problem. Hope you've got all your treats and things packed in the caravan, don't let Mrs TM take all the room up. Perhaps you'll have some nice dips in the water up norf and hopefully it'll be a bit warmer than it is down here for you. Sounds like Mrs Sue and Mr Mike are getting about to some nice places on their trip, hope the weather stays nice for them. I've been guarding this afternoon as it was my mums first afternoon shift back, I must admit I did have a little snooze cos I've got out of the habit of having to guard. Hope you all have a lovely evening, I'm having a think of wot I can get up to this evening, hmmmm, I'm sure I can find a bit of mischief if I look hard enough. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
