The Job List is Loooooong!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back again!

Sundays are for relaxing, snoozing and watching Old Two Legs working his butt off getting every job done before we go on holiday!

First and most important is to get us out for the morning walk and a look at the sunrise.

Only problem is, the sun had got up before we got to the Sea Shore.

Still, it's not bad for early September!

Another sun shiny day!
Eric was in his element, he has discovered weasel sniffs in the long grass and spend time chasing about!

It was a weasel sniff but it disappeared!
Back home we headed for the bedroom and a snooze while OTL cleaned the cages and after a quick game of 'Chase the Ferret' he headed for the front of the house to wash the caravan and trim the vegetation that has it's roots in the neighbours garden but hangs over ours!

Well, that fills up one of the plastic bins!

It took a little while for OTL to get the plants, weeds and cat poo! It was amazing just how wider the front looked after OTL had gone into 'Destructive Mode' with shears, and other weapons of garden warfare!

Now, because it wasn't cold or wet, the next job was to give the caravan a good wash all over. We have a pressure washer which is great for blasting the spider out of the little nooks and crannies where they set up home!

Plus, OTL, a bucket and an old towel cut up to make a cleaning rag, he made a good job of it all.

Next job will be to check out all the inside and cupboards plus the gas and electric stuff. Then it will be ready for next week when we head off to Scotland for a couple of weeks!

Come lunchtime OTL was still slaving over a grubby caravan so The Missus took us out for a walk.

When we got to the Sea Shore we found a load of fishermen teaching worms to swim!

You know, Holly went from fisherman to fisherman looking for nibbles but because we were a little late so by the time we get there the fishermen had eaten all their sarnies!

That was it, no sarnie, no stroke!

Back home we headed for the kitchen for some nosh and found two bowls of Doggy Scoff, not the best meal we have had but by the time we get up to go to bed both bowls will be empty!

So that's it from us today.

Wonder what OTL has got for dinner?

Can we get a nibble?

Can we get a bigger nibble?

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties, well a relaxing Sunday is nice and I did have a relaxing morning before my mum scared me, I spotted her walking round the kitchen with the clippers so I hopped it and hid, but my boy wasn't so quick, next thing you know he's sat on the chair getting a close trim. I had a snooze while he was getting groomed but I woke up looking for a bit of excitement. Now my mum was sat munching on a ploughmans, it sniffed really good and I knew she wouldn't share so when she tried to get her fork into one of the pickled onions, it jumped up in the air and landed straight in my mouth. That was it, muvver in panic mode and searching the internetty to see wot to do about it, well the upshot was, best advice ring your vet straight away, ours doesn't do Sundays so we have to go to the veterinary college, I love it down there cos you have to ride through all the country lanes where the farmyard sniffs are so good. Well my mum told them over the phone, they gave her a quote for coming through the front door, £148, it's gone up, anyways they spoke to a vet who said I should come down, so off we popped. I enjoyed the ride, loved the sniffs so I was in a really good mood when we got there and I treated them all to kisses and cuddles. They took me off to weigh me and they looked at the size of the onions, then they did some adding up and some taking away and a bit of multiplication, they felt all round my tummy, listened to my heart and my lungs and gave me lots of cuddles and laughed at me lots cos I was doing all my best tricks and they decided that I wouldn't need any treatment but I might get a bit of the grumblies but with all the medicine I take anyways, it might help me not get the grumblies. My mum went off to pay the bill and do you know, they said no charge, they were happy with just my kisses and cuddles. My mum was very relieved that I didn't need any treatment but I reckon she was just as relieved at not having a huge bill to pay on top of losing her pickled onion. And do you know, when they asked her if I was a cavapoo, do you know wot she said, she said no I was a cavashit!!! How rude is that. Anyways, all that flirting and clowning has made me a tad tired so I might need a snooze while I plan my next visit there. I'm glad OTL has beaten the weeds back and hope he's not too tired after washing the caravan, good job it don't need to be clipped like you and Holly chops. Hope he's got something tasty to share with you tonight, ask him if he's got any pickled onions to go with it, I gather if you're our size and you eat one the size of a marble, it shouldn't have too much of an effect other than it might give you the grumblies, but it was tasty. Glad Eric enjoyed his weasel sniffs. Have a lovely evening all, I need to go snooze to get my strength back up, I'm exhausted from the flirting. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (loverman) Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. All set and ready to go then, we are a step ahead except we have gone in the wrong direction, so far we have arranged a trip to Lands End and a Mystery Trip on Thursday to the little places that the big vans can’t reach, also Wednesday is “Wine and a Nibble” afternoon. It gets darker sooner as we are more South at least you will get more light. I read about Archie and the picked onion, so quick his mum has no chance. I hope you had a nice bit of nibble this evening after the doggie scoff, poor you, makes me feel guilty to have cooked Beef Chilli but it was lovely and enough for another day. We have over 100 club vans here at the moment so we weren’t the only ones to think Cornwall a good idea. Hope your Monday is less busy, you must get your rest and strength for the long journey 💕 💕 💕. 🐾 🐾 🐾
