Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here again!
It's Saturday so that is Fun Day!
The ferrets were up early rattling on the cage doors, Old Two Legs was awake early (03:30!) but Holly and I kept snoozing until it was time to go out!
When we got to the Sea Wall what did we see?

Eric enjoyed his cuddle down to the Sea Wall but had to ask me for a lift to get up the steps!
Like, I'm going to let him anywhere near my ears! He is too fond of giving Holly and I a quick nip if we get in his way!

After the ferrets were tucked up in their beds we watched a bit of the F1!
Lunchtime the fog had been blown away, mind you, it wasn't a very strong wind but it did it's job!
Now with all that fog blown away we can see wot is sneaking up on us and boy was we glad 'cos out of nowhere came this mountain of a woofer!
It was the size of a horse with big slobbering mouth and teeth that could rip your tail off and I bet that it was fed on dead ferrets and hefferlumps and little woofers like us!
It was mean and evil looking and on top of that it was so hungry it was dribbling!

That was it, one look at OTL and this meat eating mountain jumped back, turned on its tail and dashed off back to its Two Legs wot was walking along the top path!
It's a good job that OTL's Woofer Language is only really understood by us 'cos what he said could be translated as.......'Any closer and I'll rip yer legs off'!
Down on the Sea Wall Wendy said that she could have sorted the woofer out by choking it as it tried to eat her!
We all said that was wishful thinking on her part!

We had a relaxing afternoon watching the F1 Qualifying wot The Missus had recorded this morning. After that OTL watched the final episodes of Stargate SG1!
Today we had chicken, so tonight we are looking forward to doing some serious mugging on OTL for the meat on his dinner plate, not the rabbit food salad, just the meat!
Now, wot's all this about Izzy's dad working all night? Sound like the stuff that OTL used to do when he first started to work for himself!
Mind you, these computer things are a real problem when they go wrong, I have to get Holly to sort out this laptop when it gets the wobbles!
Now, I can hear TM unloading all her stuff from the Master Class so we are off to give her a Woofers Welcome!

Hi there Daisy and the Godwin gang. What a smashing photo of you on the sea wall. You look stunning and I don't blame you for refusing to give Eric a lift up the sea wall, you could end up being called Vincent Van Woof with only one ear. We've had a super sunny day up here and got all our patrols around the village completed with no big mean woofers to report unlike you. Wow! What a monster, drooly woofer he was. Lucky that OTL saved the day. We're pleased to report that our dad got home at 2 minutes to mid-night last night and is now laying snoring on the sofa with Tommy using him as a big cushion. Two things to report today. Dad made new side gates which look nice and smart but they don't have the gaps between the planks like what the old rotten ones did so Tommy and Lady can't watch the little sparrows play in the bushes in the front garden now...they is not happy. Mum had a delivery of a mahoooosive box today from Petplanet. Inside were two huge boxes of Dentastix, 4 bags of treats and two new beds. Now these beds are cool because they have a soft canopy over the top so we can snuggle down underneath. Hamish has already hogged the biggest one and the other smaller one is for me for bedtime next to mum's bed -she does know how to spoil me and earn my devotion. I'm suprised that OTL was allowed to watch the F1 earlier without TM! Will he be banished from the house until she has caught up with it? Or was she up at 5.30am watching it. Hope you get a tasty supper tonight. We've just had our doggy scoff and are all settled for our early evening snooze. Enjoy your evening and we hope you don't have fog again tomorrow. ReplyDeleteYo maties and Izzy's gang wot got here before me. We didn't have any fog today but just after I got back from my early walk it started to rain and it hasn't stopped all day. That was a big monster woofer wot OTL and Wendy scared away. I reckon Wendy was the one that really frightened it, she probably showed her sharp teef and it decided it didn't want to be torn to shreds. My boy is on nights next week, I'm not happy about it cos he'll be leaving home just after 5 at night and not getting home until about half past 6 the next morning. Wots wrong with these TL bosses that they make us woofers miss out on seeing our TL's. Sounds like a nice delivery at Izzy's house. Loved the pictures today and Daisy you do look the dogs doo dahs. Glad to hear you got some decent scoff and hope you get lucky mugging OTL tonight. I've had a bit of a lazy day cos I'm keeping my strength up for guard duty tomorrow morning. Poor Eric, perhaps Santa Paws will bring him 2 pairs of stilts for Xmas then he won't have any problems getting up them steps. Have a lovely evening all. ReplyDeleteAll these working TLs working beyond the call of duty if you ask me, still Izzys dad was home before midnight, just. Big parcel, I bet the box is fun too, I hope they enjoy the new beds and the treats too xx
Wonderful proud picture of you Daisy thank goodness you managed not to be wooferised by that big drooling mutt. Have you written your Santa Paws list yet, best get thinking because Lapland is further than Scotland and OTL will need to get the big car serviced before setting off on such a massive journey. You will need to write the little ones lists because they won’t manage the keyboard with such weak paws. More fog today and rain and suppose to carry on still F1 tomorrow on Channel 4 so we can see it but not live because it starts at 6 am! Good luck Lewis, let’s hope it is a proper race this time.
