Change of plans, make it a LAZY DAY!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret

As you know, we were planing a very industrious day, you know, slaving over a weed patch and a grubby pond.

Old Two Legs was going to take us all out for a run this morning, only it was us woofers who did the running and fast trots!

However, we still beat the sun in getting up!
Mind you, looking at the sunrise you wouldn't believe it was still dark on the Sea Wall. OTL had to use the 'Flash' setting on the camera, but hey, it showed up our 'Reflective Strips'!

It's us, The Glitter Girls!
Eric, who was with us didn't have any glow in the dark strips on his gear, so, even if we used flash he was still difficult to see!

Now you see me, and now you don't!
It was rather warm this morning and just seemed to get warmer as the day wore on. At lunchtime it was really warm and both Wendy and Monty were not as quick up the path, in fact they said that they fancied a little sun bathe before ferreting around in the grass!

I just fancy an ice cream cone, Lactose Free of course!
Lunchtime came and Holly and I had our Doggy Scoff while OTL made himself a couple of Marmite Sandwiches. He was sitting in front of the TV when he was eating them and as soon as he finished, he fell asleep!

Mind you, we were not complaining 'cos Holly and were upstairs snoozing on the bed!

Bang goes the 'Weeding plan'!

Late afternoon we woke up, wandered down stairs to tell OTL we fancied another walk, so, out we went over the football field and this time Miss May came with us for a run around!

Well, not really a run around more of a little ferret around the field,, stopping to get a carry from OTL every so often when her legs got a little tired!

Back home she went straight to her feeding bowl for a nibble and then promptly fell asleep on the hammock!

It doesn't take long to get her tired out!

So, plans for tomorrow, weed the garden and pond.

Wot chance?

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Loved the pictures, we've had a very windy day again and for a little while this morning it was raining cats and frogs so I went for my walk a bit later when it had stopped and the wind had dried up all the puddles. I went and visited Brenda this morning and gave her cuddles and licks and I met up with Eddie her granddog, I've met him before but I haven't been in the house when he's been there, he was there with his TL's Brenda's boy and Mrs boy. Brenda is still sounding very croaky but she has more tablets and new stuff to help her breath better. Eddie got a little bit jealous when Millie was sniffing round me but he was alright and he didn't bite me. I got my mum to do some jobs this morning so we could have a lazy afternoon, she needs to get the mower out but I reckon she should wait a bit longer until all the leaves fall off the trees, there can't be many more left up there cos my garden is covered in them. Pleased to hear Miss May managed to get a walk out today, I bet she enjoyed her breath of fresh air. I reckon a siesta should be made law, you can't beat a good snooze in the afternoon after lunch. Hope you all have a lovely lazy evening and enjoy any muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Hello sleepy village of Allhallows, they do talk about sleepy villages so I wonder if everyone else was asleep, I bet TM was wide awake. Those glow strips do look good, enough to frighten the nargles away if they have their torches on of course. Lovely to hear that Miss May had a little stroll, the wind had dropped here and it was quite warm so it must have been nice for her. Sunday, the day of rest, it seems like the day of making up for what you didn’t do Saturday, better get him out in the garden early before he has any go to sleep Marmite, when all the work is done he can have just one Marmite sandwich before taking you two on a nice stroll along the sea wall. xxxxxx
