It's Friday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back again!

We just love Friday's, it means that Old Two Legs finishes early and we can sit down and plan what we are doing over the weekend.

We know that The Missus is off to her Master Class in the the village hall tomorrow so that means we will get the big car to take us to the sea side!

OTL says that if the weather is kind, he plans to do some clearing up in and around the pond in the garden. There is loads of dead leaves blowing around and the reeds have dropped there leaves as well!

It could be fun if the sun is shining but if it rains, well, there is always the DVD player and some nibbles on the sofa!

Today we didn't see the sun, we beat it again and OTL was a little disappointed that he didn't have any dramatic clouds on the horizon!

Yeh! It's OK but not exactly Pow!
One thing we have noticed when we bring young Eric on our walk, he just loves to be 'In Charge'!

What he does is wait until we have walked past him and then he will come along. However, if we hang back, he stands there looking at us and sometimes even takes a swipe as we go past, a sort of 'Get a move on'!

Holly calls him a 'Bossy Ferret'!

Better get a move on or he will be after us!
Back home we spent a super time snoozing on the bed, you know it sure is comfortable and very relaxing!

The lunchtime walk was super, a gentle warm breeze blowing down stream! Monty and Wendy had a great time sniffing the sniffs and better still, they didn't try to boss us about!

Well, we'll wait up there for them to catch up!
You know it is amazing to see that after their walk the ferrets spend most of the day fast asleep in their cages. That is excluding Miss May, she gets to stay in bed when Eric goes out. OTL says that May would get too tired if she came out and as she is getting old, she is around six years old, she finds the rampage around the house is just enough exercise before she falls asleep!

OTL knows all her sleeping places which range from the 'Pinny Box' to the underside of the chairs in the lounge!

Mind you, she gets a bit 'wobbly' when she first comes out of the cage and needs a sit down before heading down stairs to the 'Brambles Biscuits'!

Yesterday OTL had Beef Burger and Salad, now we don't do salad but the burger looked rather tasty, so, like good woofers we sat next to OTL giving him the 'Signs'!

Holly and I got a bit of burger but what we didn't know was the crafty OTL had wrapped the burger around the worming tablet!

By the time we had worked out what he had done the burger bit and pill had landed in our tummy!

Oh well, maybe next time we will get to wind him up!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Loved all the pictures today, OTL can really take a good snap. We've had a lot of wind here today and not from our butts. The big trees in the gardens near us looked like they might blow into ours, they didn't but lots of their leaves did. I wasn't happy going out in the garden at 3.30 this morning with all the wind but at least it wasn't raining. It's been quite warm here. I've had a lazy day today and I'm going to have a lazy day again tomorrow cos my mum has worked every day bar one this week so we have lots of snuggles to catch up on. Brenda spent the day in hospital but she's home now, she had to have antibiotics straight into her veins, so that means she must have been stabbed by the TL doctors, poor Brenda, but she says she's feeling lots better now. My mum says Brenda won't be working next week so that means I won't be getting my treats and cuddles from her but my mum said if I'm a very good boy she'll take me to visit Brenda at home so that I can snuggle with her and give her get well licks. Now if that Eric gets too bossy on your walks then I reckon you and Holly chops should sit on him, that will shut him up. If the weather's nice tomorrow Daisy, you could have a dip in the pond and fish out some of the leaves for OTL. Now you didn't listen to my advice yesterday about spitting things out so that you got more treats offered when you have to take your worming pills. Hope you all have a lovely evening and enjoy wot you all get up to tomorrow. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. You probably didn’t know and I thought Holly knew everything but TM was watching the Royal Wedding on TV, I think even you would have known if she had weaselled an invite to Windsor! That OTL fancy tempting you with a bit of burger and secretly popping in a worming pill, that’s not cricket or football for that matter, it seems to have worked though, a present for the worms. Perhaps Eric can help tomorrow with the pond and leaves, he will get the job done in half the time while you and Holly supervise him. Poor Miss May is getting very frail now, hope she manages a few Brambles biscuits tomorrow, maybe they could be put a little nearer for her. Now we have Archie missing out on cuddles, poor little man, still in a good cause and Brenda will love him visiting next week. xxxxxx
