As bald as OTL's bonce!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here again!

Wot a change from yesterday, we went out this morning expecting a glorious sunrise and what did we get?

It must be up by now!
Nuffin! Not even a glimmer! I mean, we sat there on the Sea Wall while Eric was waking up but we were disappointed, it was nothing but clouds!

OK, I'm awake now, anyone see the sun come up?
We headed home to a chew treat and a snooze while Old Two Legs set about shredding more of his fliles that he keeps in the filing cabinet. He says the stuff is old and not needed any more.

Well, if it keeps him happy!

We got a shock when we went back out at lunchtime, the grass had gone!

It's them, they've done it!
Well, maybe not gone but all chopped down! Now we know that the two legs like the grassy look but what about all the wild life If they keep cutting the grass there will be no where for mouses or shrews or weasels and even the rabbits will have to find somewhere else to hide. That will mean the Kestrel will go hungry 'cos there will be no food for them to eat!

All the butterflies and moths will have nowhere to play and insects like bees will have no flowers to visit!

Of course, Monty and Wendy thought it great fun to dive into the grass hunting Nargles and Nifflers but they must have been scared off by the grass cutting tractor thingy!

Bet you can't see me!
Of course, I was rather put out 'cos I love the grass 'cos I go in there when I want a poo. You see I don't want anyone watching me and now they have cut the grass, where do I go?

Look, if she wants a poo we both turn away, OK?
I thought it funny when Holly Dog said that it looks just like OTL's head, you know, bald!

I said we should be careful 'cos he has the clippers out and we won't have The Missus to protect us this weekend 'cos she is off to a 'Retreat' to slap the glue!

It won't be too long before the Harrietsham Ferret Show on 24th November! OTL says that he has high hopes of Monty and Eric doing well in the contest. Maybe they will even get a rosette like wot Mr Brambles or Snowflake did.

The ferrets have all had their claws trimmed and they have had the first of the 'Ear Wipes' to clear out all the ear wax that might have got stuck in their ear lobes. OTL will take a soft brush that will be used to give their coats a nice shine!

I suppose that OTL will practise on us this weekend!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well it's been pretty gloomy here, cold and damp and grey. Sorry to hear they've cut the grass where you are, poor wildlife, wot will they have to munch on and hide away, they need it to keep warm in the winter as well. I suppose you could donate one of your blankets for some to hide under. I'm like you Daisy, I like a bit of grass to hide behind when I go for a poo, I mean it's private, you don't want the world and its wife watching you. My mum is off to work tomorrow so my boy has said he will come and snuggle me until she gets home, she's going to the groomers at lunchtime so I expect she'll come back with clean hair and a bit of a trim to tidy it up. Glad it's her going and not me, it's far too cold for me to have a bath and a trim, I need my coat to keep me warm. I bet Mrs TM will have lots of fun, hope she's careful how much giggle juice she drinks or she'll be covering everyone in glitter. Poor OTL, home alone but at least he's got all you 4 paws to snuggle with. I reckon Eric and Monty should come home with some rosettes cos they're very handsome little chaps. Are the girls going to be entered into anything? Hope you all have a lovely snuggly evening with a few muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. What a grey day, I went out this afternoon to play games, sitting down games like Triominoes, three sided dominoes, nothing energetic and when I came home at 4 pm it was all gloomy and foggy. We are off to the seaside tomorrow which us luck that it isn’t too cold, it is supposed to be alright until Monday but you know what those weather people are like, they will wait for us to get there and then say it will be minus something from NOW! I hope all the wildlife have somewhere else to go, that’s a lot of grass area that has gone, you will need to find a convenient bush to hide behind.
We hope to be at Harrietsham to support you all, I love to see the ferrets and will be crossing paws for a couple of rosettes. Take care of OTL while he is supposed to be in charge and I wish TM and her glittery mates a lovely weekend, oh it is going to be peaceful....................quite..................silent...............ah you will miss her, she does have her good points, everyone has their good points, some more than others xxxxxx
