Cattle Racks, Eye Balls and Plawn Clackers!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here at last!

Sorry about yesterdays report but we had a very busy day. It started well, well we were up early and that's OK 'cos we caught the sun rise. Not the most dramatic shot but better than nothing.

Sheerness in the morning!
Another thing we saw was a Kestrel looking for some lunch but we didn't see him pick anything up.

Looking for lunch!
When we got back from our walk, we were packed off to our Day Bed while The Missus and Old Two Legs set off for the hospital!

Hospital? Wot's going on?

Well, I was straight up and on the computer and the calendar!

It was then I saw the note......'TM to Hospital for Eye Ball Op'

That was it, off to get her Cattle Racks sorted!

OTL dropped her off at the hospital and then headed off to the Car Menders. It seems that one of the Dipped Beam lights had given up working, not good especially when it's dark in the morning and in the evening!

He could have done it himself but firstly he didn't have a bulb and secondly he couldn't get his big paw in the hole to  change the bulb!

So, he gets down the menders who ask him to go to the spares department and purchase a bulb and hand the bulb to the Service Department who will arrange to change the faulty bulb!

I know, I would have thought that Service Department would have had bulbs in stock but who am I to criticise, I'm only a woofer!

Well, he gets it changed and they charged him for the bulb but the fitting was free!

After that he got back to the hospital expecting to see TM slurping Coffee and Biscuits and with a patch over her eye.

When he went into the Reception there was no TM so he settles down in a comfortable chair, close to the warm air heating and set about reading his book. About three hours later TM was on the phone asking where he was 'cos she was all done and ready for home.

That was it, the Cattle Rack in one eye was gone and a new bit shoved in. It was funny looking at her 'cos she had an indelible ink 'Arrow' drawn on her forehead pointing to the eye that was to be worked on, High Tech Stuff!

Because it was late they decided to get a Chinese Takeaway on the way home!

Plawn Clackers, King Plawns, Chicken Strips!

Yeah!

We couldn't give TM a big Licky Kiss when she got back so instead we helped her eat the Chinese!

This morning we all woke up late and we were a whole hour late getting out. This means we met up with all the 'Late Woofers', most of who we know but that means poor Eric had to be picked up to stop becoming a woofers breakfast!

The wind had dropped but it was rather foggy out to sea.

I think I prefer it when they have all gone, I mean, how does a girl get a private sniff!
Today, TM has decided that she is going to have a 'Quiet Day' which means she is going to sit on the sofa and watch TV and all her crafting DVD's!

Lunchtime we were out again with Monty and Wendy down on the Sea Front but before we go OTL has to wake the ferrets, they do like their snooze!

Miss Wendy is the worse for this, she can fall asleep as quickly as a sniff!

Waking her up is another matter!

Jus' five minutes more?
Once they they got to the place where they normally get out of the ferret bag they had just woken up!

However, waking up and getting moving is another thing!

Monty is quicker at getting going and while waiting for Wendy to catch up.

No, it's a Woofer Sniff, the ferret sniffs are further up the path!
When we got back to the football field there were signs that the moles had been digging again. Monty decided to have a poke in the latest pile of mole diggings.

He could sniff mole but there was no sign of the little devil!

Come on, out you come or I'll get the woofers to dig you out!
TM's eye ball is still sore but the drops OTL is dripping into her eye is slowly making it better although the drops should last at least a month!

We are getting excited about the Harrietsham Ferret Show and all of the ferrets  get an 'Inspection' every morning, ears, claws and butt!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. I did miss you yesterday but I'm glad to hear that Mrs TM has had her cat rack done, sorry to hear it's sore though, hope the sore feeling goes away soon. My mum took her new glasses back yesterday, she reckons one of the lens isn't right so they're going to change it for her so she'll be using her one specs for a little while longer. Pleased to hear that OTL wasn't charged for putting his new bulb in, but maybe they could have given him a freebie bulb as well seeing on how it's near to Xmas. Loved the pictures of you all and the sunrise. It's been a really cold day here and we haven't seen the sun at all, when I went out for my first wee, the grass was all white, seems like we've had a really thick frost. I heard them say on the weather forecast that last night was the coldest night since last February, I wouldn't know cos I stayed under my woofer duvet all night where it was warm and snuggly. A Chinese takeaway sounds good to me and wot bricks you and Holly chops are to help Mrs TM eat hers. Now I've got all my paws crossed for Sunday and hope you've enough room on the wall to put all the rosettes that my little honorary woofer mates are going to win. Just get OTL to do one last check of Wendy's butt she mustn't have any dingleberries hanging on. Tell Monty no popping his nose down mole holes in case he gets it nipped cos he mustn't have a scratch sniffer in a beauty contest. Hope you all have a nice snuggly evening with plenty of snackettes. Love, licks, wags and sniffs to you all down at Godwin Towers. Little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. What is all this about cattle racks, they must have taken up a big bit in TMs eye, are there any bulls eyes in there, we could have a game of darts on Saturday, shall I bring my Arrers with me, just as long as the indelible arrow is still on her forehead? Oh what fun! Poor sleepy ferrets being dragged out of bed and taken on a car ride when still asleep. I hope they are well awake for the show. Still no moles in the holes, they must be around somewhere so keep looking. Give TM a hug, no licks and I hope her sore eye is better very soon, keep dripping the drops. xxxxxx 💕 💕 💕

  3. So glad to hear that the Cattle Racks Op.went okay. It's all very well folk saying to you "It'll be fine" but it's so much better once it's done . . . .except for the boring drops! How kind you were to help out with the plawn clackers. What thoughtful woofers you are! Tomorrow you'll be busy watching over the ferrets . . . strictly NO rolling in any sniffs! Hope you all have a lovely day at the ferret show and that Wendy stays awake long enough to wow the judges. Do they have a class for the sleepiest ferret? Lots of love to you all 'Auntie Di' x x
