Foggy Foggy Dew followed by Foggy Foggy Cloud!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret, Champions all!

Well, we are getting over our big, long, day! We have all been polishing the rosettes that are hanging on the cages!

First thing this morning we were out in the dark and foggy mist. The ferrets decided that bed is better than fog, so back they went to bed and a snooze!

As a treat, Old Two Legs has ordered a couple of hanging beds for the ferrets, they are described as

Rodent Hive Rat Ferret Bed! We saw them at the Harrietsham Ferret Show and OTL thought they looked all warm and cuddly for the ferrets!

They should arrive in a couple of days so we can see what our Champions think of them!

After the morning run, OTL cleaned all the cages and then packed up the laptop and headed out of the front door leaving us behind! Seems he had some 'reprogramming' to do at one of his customers. He took an hour to do all that and get back to us.

We managed to persuade Eric and May to come out for a stroll along the Sea Front. It was shortly after they landed on the grass that they were climbing up OTL's leg and straight into the ferret bag!

Oi! Shut that door!
OTL tried a couple of times to get them to walk but they were definitely more comfortable than paddling in the sea!

It looks too cold for us!
Holly is still upset about all the grass being cut, when she wants a private wee, everyone can still see what you are up to!

Where's a girl going to have a poo now they have done all this!
Half way back Eric stuck his nose out of the bag to watch the world go by. Of course, there was the usual question!

Are we there yet?
When we got to the football field both Eric and May got down and ran across the field, well Eric ran after he got brave enough to run but May was running then stopping to catch her breath then off again!

Soon they were back in the travel cage and heading back to a warm bed in their home cage!

It will be fun to see what the ferrets think of their new beds!

We have chicken today, so, off we go to have a taste!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Wotcha maties. Well I'm going to put a complaint in about this weather. First thing this morning, me and my mum were off up the road to see Brenda and get my cuddles and treats, then my mum popped back to the shops to get some bread and stuff in, then I suggested that she go and cut the grass and get rid of all the leaves in the garden. When she finished that I said she could have a cup of coffee and a sarnie, while I had my lunch, then I said she could make a card if she wanted. Well no sooner had we sat down for our lunch but the rain came down, in buckets, it's still raining cats and frogs here so I have to do a quick sprint for a wee and then a quicker sprint back in to get out of the rain, it's so cold and wet, and I really don't do wet. My mum made a cracking card but right at the end she noticed that a bit of ink had smudged, she was going to put it in the bin but I said she should put a butterfly on it, she said she didn't think the butterflys came out when it was snowing so we both settled for a robin, just plump enough to cover the smudge and he looks quite good, see sometimes my brain waves and some days it doesn't. Glad to hear that May and Eric got out for a breath of fresh air today, shame it wasn't a nice day though. Now wots all this about them getting new beds, when are your beds coming? Is Santa Paws bringing you and Holly chops new beds? A bit of chicken sounds good to me. My boy won't by home from work until very late tonight so I don't quite know wot he'll be getting for his dinner, I don't think I can wait that long so I'll have wotever my mum puts in my dish. I'd better go and see wot my mum is up to so have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Well what can I say about these news ferret beds that Archie hasn’t already said, their old bed won’t be any good for you and Holly so old beds for you boo hoooo. That rain is horrible and it gets so dark so quickly, I don’t like the look of winter. I wonder if TM will let Archie into one of her card making classes at half price as he is a little woofer, he seems to have the nack with this design lark. Maybe he could teach the class a thing or two. Glad that Eric and May were able to go for a run even if only the football field was good enough today. Good news on the chicken as well, we had Cumberland sausages, very nice, you would have liked them but they are all gone. Poor OTL working but at least he was quick and back soon, have fun tomorrow although more rain is forecast, keep warm, bigs hugs xxxxxx
