Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
Here we are again, The Missus had her Cattle Rack done yesterday. It was late in the afternoon when she went in and late by the time she came out!
In fact it was so late that dinner was cancelled and Old Two Legs had to get a Chinese Takeaway!
Not that we worried, Plawn Clackers, King Plawns and Specially Flied Lice!
Mmmmmmm!
This morning her eye looked rather red and sore but OTL has been putting drops in her eye and it seems to be better, not perfect but getting better!
She is resting her eye by watching TV and programmes that have been recorded, mainly cooking programmes. You know, it's strange that she watches so many cooking programmes but we still get Doggy Scoff from a tin while OTL has to make do with salad and cold meat!
Do you know that today is the shortest day of the year?
Well, it is!
As from tomorrow the days will be getting longer and both Spring and Summer is on it's way!
Yippee! I can almost feel the warmth on my tail!
Mind you Eric still reckons it's really too cold to do too much walking!
No, I'm staying here until the sun shines! |
Eric was not a happy ferret!
Do you realise just how cold this concrete is? |
From the top of the hill we can see right out to sea and we all climbed up onto the table just to see a bit further. All that is except OTL who stayed on the ground 'cos he is tall enough to still see further than us woofers!
That's a long way over there! |
It's a long way down, someone give us a paw! |
See, it takes an expert to do it properly! |
...........and it's not even Spring yet! |
Archie's Boy has been to the vet? Well, that's good 'cos TL vets are free, unlike woofer vets who charge a fortune! I reckon that the pills will soon get him up on his paws again!
So, that's about all for today, every thing is OK here and Holly is still moaning about being on a diet!
See you all tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
Wotcha maties. I missed you yesterday but I thought it probably had something to do with Mrs TM's cattle rack. Glad it went well and she's home. That Chinese sounds good, I hope you and Holly chops got a little snackette of plawn clacker. You're right Daisy about these TL's watching cooking programmes, now I've never heard the smoke alarm go off in these programmes but I wonder if they take the battery out just before they record them. Well my boy got his tablets, he moaned cos it did cost him a bit, so seeing the vet is free but the tablets have to be paid for, mind, they're a lot cheaper than the ones we get, maybe they aren't as good as the ones we get, I reckon it would be better to see a proper vet really though, cos they're happy to see you whenever you need them, not with a TL vet, sometimes you have to wait weeks before they can fit you in. Anyways, my boy says his throat feels a bit better and he's managing to get some snooze now, which is also making him feel a bit better, so I reckon by Xmas day he'll be up to wrestling with me again. Mind, he's still going to work and my mum says he'd get over it quicker if he stayed home and rested properly, I'm with my mum on that one, cos he could snuggle up with me and that would be good for him as well. Loved the pictures, little Eric looks right put out at being put down on the cold concrete. Well my mum has 3 more shifts to do at work then it will be time for Santa Paws to come and we can all have a day off. My mum snuck off to town this morning and she reckons she's bought a big burd for xmas dinner but it's being stored at where she works in their humungous chiller cos we haven't got enough room in our fridge. I reckon she's bought an ostrich myself, so maybe I can have fun chasing it round the garden Xmas eve. She'd better not forget to bring it home or we'll be having hot dogs for dinner. Tell OTL to keep up the good work putting in Mrs TM's eye drops, does she shake her head when he puts them in? Poor Holly chops, tell her she'll probably get decent scoff for Xmas dinner and plenty of it. Hope you all have good evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteI am sitting here watching Jamie Oliver cooking but it won’t be anything that I will cook, using things I haven’t heard of that I won’t want to buy a big pot of to use a spoonful of. Anyway they are now making a Clay Oven, definitely won’t be doing that. Glad TM has left her Cattle Rack behind and with a bit of nursey nursey from OTL she will be winking with the best of them. Eric needs some stilts and I know a plasterer who used to work on stilts until Elf and Safetea got in the way, sure he will give lessons at a reasonable charge. Nice to see colour about and past the shortest day, wonderful. Hope you got more than a sniff of the plawns afterall it is Christmas. Trevor is coming here on Sunday, hope the weather is good then he and Michael can go out for a walk and not wear out our carpet, TM will understand that. xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWahoo . . . Plawn clackers & flied lice . . . Well done on scoring something other than doggy scoff . . . Don't stand on the scales until after Santa Paws has been for goodness sake!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of your walk & glad you shared your tips with Eric on getting off the bench gracefully!
Thanks for the update on TM's eye. Glad all is well. Make sure you give her plenty of cuddles.
Hugs, Sarn XXX
Ps:Thanks for the shout out xxx
