Holly get's the Grumbles!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

There were no red moons today so that means we were up early!

There was no chance of seeing the stars or the moon so we didn't bother with the camera!

Back home we retired up to our bed while the ferrets were let out. Eric was doing his normal trick and tearing around the lounge like he had his tail on fire!

Miss May on the other paw stayed in bed, not really wanting to get up at all. A little later she woke up but just didn't fancy taking her medicine, no matter how hard Old Two Legs tried!

So, after the allotted time, both Eric and May headed off to bed but an hour later May was up and bouncing around the cage! So, OTL crushed up another pill and tried to administer the medication.

She slurped it all down in one go! Then, after finishing she had a cuddle with OTL and even gave him a licky kiss!

When Wendy and Monty came out they were doing an 'Eric', you know it's amazing just how fast these ferrets can go!

Almost as soon as the ferrets went back to bed, Holly and I were telling OTL we needed a walk!

We went around the back and up the hill. In fact OTL managed to get up to the top first, mainly because Holly and I stopped for a sniff!

OTL, that was SNEAKY!
Holly is not as quick so she ended up being last up the hill!

I was enjoying that sniff!
Just for a change we followed the Sea Wall back to our car.

Come on, let's play 'Up & Down'!
Just to make a change, we spotted a cormorant fishing just off shore.

Oi! Seen any good fish around here?
We got back home and headed up to the office and our Day Bed where we both had a good snooze.

Holly was next to the ferret cage and while she was snoozing and cuddling the rawhide chew she pinched off me, Monty came down to have a poo and managed to wake up Holly.

Now, I'm not sure what woke Holly up, the sniff or the noise but awake she was and Holly doesn't do being woke up without an appointment first!

Being possessive, Holly set about telling Monty where could go and what he could do when he got there!

All of this attracted OTL's attention and he told Holly off for being so grumpy. Not that Holly agreed with him and kept up a low throaty grumble while being told off!

OTL didn't think that Holly was paying proper attention to what OTL was saying, so, to get her to focus, OTL took away the chew!

Holly was not happy and stomped off down stairs to show off on the sofa!

You would have thought by now she would have learnt her lesson!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Well it's snowing here, I've just been out for a wee, poo and a patrol and the grass has disappeared. I've reported the loss of the grass to my mum and she said she'll look for it when she goes to pick up my poo. Good luck with finding it Mrs .... it'll be covered in white cold wet stuff in no time. Poor Holly chops, now if someone came down and woke me up with a sniffy noisy poo I think I'd have a grumble too. Doesn't seem fair that she lost her chew cos she had a few choice words to say .......... Oi, OTL, give it back. Loved the pictures of you and Holly chops and the other piccies as well but it's always the ones with my favourite girls in that I love the most. I went for a walk up the shop this morning to get my treat and cuddle from Brenda and I met a woofer in the shop who's not known for being nice to other woofers but Brenda told her, if she upset me then there wouldn't be any treats for her so she was nice to me and her TL was very impressed that she didn't try to eat my nose. Mind, my mum standing with her big heavy walking stick, already to batter any woofer wot tries to bite me probably made her think she wouldn't try it on. Cor it was cold, I was glad I had my fleece on even if it did take my mum ages to catch me and put it on. My mum emptied the freezer today so she could defrost it and she threw away loads of scoff wot I would have liked, then she went to the shops to get new stuff to put in, I bet I see it going in a black bag and in the bin in a few months, these TL's worry me sometimes. On the way home my mum stopped off at another shop and bought my boy a nice thick fleecy pair of trousers to wear when he goes to work so that he doesn't get his suit trousers wet and they can keep him warmer as well, she must have had a premonition that it was going to snow today. The car is tucked up in the garage with half a tank of petrol and will only get used in emergencies until it stops snowing, I'm half expecting her to tie up a couple of huskies and get a sleigh out, she does plan for extremes, I mean, at the moment the snow only comes up to the bottom of my paws, you'd think it was 6 foot deep out there and I bet it will be gone by the morning, well I hope so anyways cos I'm not the keen on it either. Think I'll go and do another patrol to see if it's still there or if my grass has come back. Have a lovely evening all, stay warm and cosy and enjoy any muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch (of the arctic) and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. Holly must try to sleep away from trouble, not nice being woken up by a ferret poo so fancy sleeping where it could come about. Not far being told off and loosing her prized chew, give it back OTL, it isn’t yours. I don’t like the sound of Archies snow, it is apparently snowing in parts of Kent.......... stay away from here. I am going to stay in tomorrow and keep warm.
We saw a framed notice for sale in the Poundshop today, it read:

EAT GLITTER FOR BREAKFAST AND SPARKLE ALL DAY

    Now what about that???
