Super Red Woofing Moon!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Well? Did you see it? I mean we have been told about it, what time it starts and the best time to view it and what did you do? Slept all the way through it I bet!

OTL almost missed it, like, he got up at ten past four, had a quick look out the curtains on his way out to the loo, then another look on his way back to bed and again at five fifty he got up and had another look. Both times there were bits missing from the moon but it wasn't red, a sort of silvery pale pinkish thing in the sky!

We were listening to the radio where an 'Expurt' was talking about what you missed at the very moment of full eclipse. The best description we heard was, 'If you were standing on the moon looking at earth, you would be seeing all the sunrise and sunsets all over the world at the same time!

Hey! Now then, wouldn't I like to see that, and better still, what would you call it, 'The Earth Fire Ring' ?

We didn't bother with the camera this morning 'cos unless we were up at five thirty we wouldn't have seen the red moon!

Mind you, at lunch time we could see the effect of the Super Full Moon had on the tide, right up the beach it was!

A Super Red Woofy High Tide and it's on the way out now!
Looking out over the Thames Estuary we could see the ships going past and a good showing of sea mist!

I see no ships! Only Hardships!
Back home there was a big bowl of chicken waiting for me and the prospect of a good snooze afterwards!

Tonight we will be watching the last of the DVD's while Old Two Legs is slurping the last few drops he manages to squeeze out of the bottle of malt whisky!

One of the good things is that he will be nibbling at a box of shortbread he got for Christmas and of course being 'Expurts' on Shortbread, Holly and I help him, with the Short Bread, not the whisky!

We both had a sniff of whisky some time back and we decided it was awful! I mean, you could clean a tractor engine with that stuff!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Wotcha maties. Well me and my mum were up at 4 and we could see a bit of the moon getting covered but my mum couldn't stay and watch cos she had to get ready for work. When she walked to work, she was hoping to see more but the cloud had covered it up so she missed the really best bit. Of course I was at home guarding and I couldn't see it from inside my bed. I had a lovely snooze with my mum when she came home. I've been guarding again this afternoon, it's all go for a professional guard dog like me. Loved the pictures today. It's been very chilly here again, in fact, I reckon it's been the coldest day for a week or so. It's good to hear that you are advising OTL on his shortbread. I hope it's passing quality control. I bet that bowl of chicken slide down nicely after a cold walk. I hope OTL has got some more malt in stock. Enjoy the DVDs tonight, don't fall asleep. Now, talking of quality control, my mum made a cup of hot chocolate last night to help her have a good snooze, well she put it on the table and went into the kitchen to get something so I thought I'd just check that it was good enough for her to drink, when she came back I was standing on the table having a good slurp, oh boy did I snooze well last night. Have a lovely evening, enjoy the muggings and stay warm and cosy. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Annoyingly I missed the red moon because I forgot all about it, even tho I was awake in the early hours & could've seen it if I'd peeked out the curtains!

    Happy muggings and snoozings!

    Hugs, Sarn xxx

  3. Well now, we saw it but not intentionally because Michael decided that he wouldn’t bother but woke up at silly o’clock and went to look - got the camera out - downstairs to get the tripod - took the front bedroom net curtain down and then turned on the bedroom light so waking me up. So oh yes, I saw it too, our front bedroom looked right on it but the window doesn’t open right back so he photographed through the double glazing. Then he had to work but this afternoon after a late lunch we had a little snooze, it would have been longer but our services were required so out we went and finished by having dinner at 8pm. He said he was going to bed at 10-30pm and I can’t hearing him stomping around but then sitting at his computer isn’t the same at TM with her turbo charged thingy. 💗
That water was high today and I am glad you never decided to have a paddle, Archie into more mischief trying hot chocolate now but it didn’t seem to do him any harm. 💗 sorry it is a pink heart and not blue Archie but my I-pad only does pink.
Well I am going to look on Faceache to see what’s happening then going to snoozeland. xxxxxx
