More Star Gazing!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

This working for a living is not much fun, you know we have been up almost all night doing our guarding duties, marching around the house, checking all the doors and locks. After that we have to inspect under all the beds to make sure no Nargles or Nifflers have crept in during the day.

Of course, there is the sniffing out of all the ferret nibbles that have been stashed away. It almost wears your nose out!

After all of that is done we have to wake up and go for a morning wee!

It was dark this morning, loads of dark clouds and the only thing we saw was the Moon and Venus!

Taken using the phone camera
We don't take the camera with us in the morning 'cos most of the time there is nothing to photograph. The Sun is still in bed and there is no morning glow on the horizon!

Mind you, lunch time is better, providing there is something to photograph!

Holly Chops catching up after a stop for a wee!
Now, we expected that the Two Legs would all be back at work but there were a number of them wandering along the sea shore, some even had woofers with them!

Where did that lot come from?
Eric is still playing his game of 'Hide in the Bag' but when we got to the football field Holly and I headed off to the Mole Hills for a dig while Old Two Legs coxed Eric across the field by showing Eric the bag then running off as Eric chased after OTL to get in!

I don't think this is funny. Just wait until I catch you!
We got back home and was settling down for an afternoon snooze when we heard OTL making a phone call.

Normally his phone calls are boring beyond belief but this one was to the vet!

Seems that January is the time when Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret have to go in for their Distemper jab.

Jab? Have you seen the size of the needle compared with the size of a ferret? It's like getting stabbed with a bicycle pump with a sharp end!

Rather them than me!

Anyway, an appointment has been made for them to get stabbed next Monday and already OTL is counting the contents of his money bag to make sure he has enough!

Poor OTL!

Tomorrow we are expecting Auntie Sue and Michael to visit, should be fun!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Daisy, I told you, don't be up all night doing patrols and things, you just pretend you've done them, just make sure that one of you is listening out for noises and if you don't hear any then you don't need to disturb your snooze. You could take it in turns to snooze with one ear open, or just have a good snooze and if a noisy burglar comes in with hobnailed boots, he'll disturb you anyways so you don't have to worry. My mum thinks I'm doing patrols all night but I'm not, I just make sure I've moved one of my paws during the night so it's not in the same place as it was when she goes to sleep so she's happy. Anyway, them nargles and nifflers are probably snoring away so they won't get up to much. Now I asked my mum about these new year revolution thingys, she just said they're things wot go round, so don't worry about not making any, they only go round so you're back where you started anyways. Poor little Eric, fancy OTL teasing him with that nice warm, comfy bag and then running away from him. Poor Wendy and Eric, having to be stabbed next week, they are rather little, maybe the vet will use a very little needle to stab them with instead of those huge things wot they stab us woofers with. It's been really quite cold here today and I wore my fleece when I went out for a walk, I was glad to get back home though cos that wind nearly cut my tail off. I bet Mrs Sue and Michael are looking forward to visiting tomorrow, do you think they'll bring you a snackette? Hope OTL has enough dosh for the vets on Monday, if not you'll have to pass round the hat. Have a lovely evening, stay warm and cosy and make sure you get some decent muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. That first walk looked very interesting I am so glad that I was fast asleep. Poor Eric de Ferret, it doesn't seem like he is going to have a good start to the new year after having to chase after OTL for a carry in the bag he is going to get a bicycle pump shoved somewhere full of some sort of old paint called distemper, maybe I am getting a bit confused. It gives OTL's wallet a bit of a New Year airing making sure that the moths don't invade and eat his bus pass. You two do a very good job with your guarding making sure that no Nargles or Nifflers creep in and settle.
We have spent a few days eating, most of the food I took is back here after being very well looked after even down to an afternoon snackette of cheese on toast. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow, we might even have a small morsel to keep you going until next Christmas. Big hugs from here, see you soon. xxxxxx
