A bit of a drab morning!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back again!

Well, here it is, the end of February and although the temperature has gone down a bit we still haven't seen any snow drifts or floods or howling gales!

Loads of frost and misty mornings  but not the hard frost Old Two Legs tells us he knew when he was a little puppy!

This morning it was a bit dull, no super sunrise, more of a grey excuse of a morning!

We spotted a Two Legs standing by the water waiting for the sun to come up but as Old Two Legs said, 'Wot she needs is a Big Lens'!

Is that it?
OTL whips out his big camera and with his big lens extended to its maximum proved that a big lens works!

300mm at 5.4f
 That's how yer do it!

Just to show the difference!

Might as well go back to bed!
We met up with a TL who had lost his woofer. We know the woofer cos he thinks that OTL is wonderful!

We just call him a Bozo cos he is it a bit unruly and is likely to start a fight!

We kept our eyes open, just in case!

Lunchtime we left the ferrets in their cages, snoring their paws off and headed down to the sea shore again.

It was good to see the Hawthorn blooms bursting into life.

A good sign of spring!
What was better was spotting a whole tree covered in blossom!

Pretty soon it will be blooms everywhere!
As we headed over the hill there was loads of smoke coming from the hole in the ground!

Holly and I were a bit worried cos this smoke got right up your nose and made my ears pop when I sneezed!

You don't see this very often!
Holly suggested that OTL should phone the fire brigade to report the fire but before OTL could get his phone out we spotted the sign!

As Holly said, '....it don't look very controlled to me!'
We didn't hang about, the smoke was horrid and on top of that, The Missus was cooking chicken back at home!

So, that's it for us today, TM is away this weekend for a bit of glue slapping somewhere up north!

OTL says that he will be able to get a bit more room in the bed!

We'll see about that!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well we've had a lot of rain here today, now as you know I don't like rain cos I don't do WET. It's been quite chilly as well so when I decided to have 40 winks with my mum, I made sure she cuddled me up nice and tight to her to keep me snuggly and warm. I decided I'd be a ferret today and I wouldn't go for my walk cos it was raining cats and frogs. My mum called me a few names but I wasn't going out in the deluge for anyone, not even for scoff. Very interesting pictures today, now if they'd lit that fire near here it would have gone out very quickly. I hope that woofer has found his TL, I don't like to hear of woofers wot can't find their TL's cos I know just how worrying it can be. Glad to hear there was some chicken cooking for your dinner today. Hope Mrs TM has a lovely weekend at her glue slapping. I hope you and Holly chops are going to snuggle up close to OTL cos we know he'll miss Mrs TM. I'm off for an early night tonight as I'm guarding in the morning, mind, my boy has the day off so he might help with all the guarding, it's a bit much for a little chap like me to have to guard a whole house on my own. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Ooh, ooh . . . LOVE the super sunrise photo. Hope OTL gets more of the bed while TM is away. You know what they say . . . While the cat's away, the ferrets will play!!! X

  3. I am so very glad that the smoke wasn’t TM cooking chicken back at home! A beautiful sunrise OTL “That’s the way to do it” as Mr Punch would say, you show them TLs what can be done and the bokeh on the hawthorn is very nice also. A bit coldish for my journey to Hempstead to learn about the Amish people, one for Holly to look up. See you tomorrow to see what you have been up to. xxxxxx
