Chilly or Wot!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Sunday is always a sort of lazy time. It starts off with waking up  late, rolling over and going back to sleep for another half an hour, just to enjoy the warm bed clothes and pillow as a treat for being such good guard dogs.

Not in our house!

The Missus spend the evening snoozing on the sofa and heads off to bed earlier than us woofers, so, she wakes up earlier than us, meaning, all the lights go on!

Old Two Legs is sensitive to lights, they wake him up and when that happens, we get woken up by his attempts to get back under the duvet and pillow!

It doesn't work and that means he is awake and having nothing else better to do, he gets up and heads for the shower.

After all that Holly and I are forced to get up, get dresses in our harnesses and forced out into the cold!

Bang goes a Lazy Time on Sunday!

Lunchtime it's better, by then the sun is out and it's much warmer and there is always a chance of a rabbit!

Well, there was one here but I think it's run off!
There are several places where we could see rabbits but being Sunday, the visitors were down with their woofers scaring off everything that could move!

No, nuffin here!
Today Eric asked to go out with us but the lad didn't realise just how chilly it was. He spent most of the time sitting in the ferret bag with his head poking out to watch the world go past.

Roll on Spring Time and a run on some warm grass!
When we got back to the football field Eric agreed to get out and do some running.

He got out, had a sniff or two at the mole hole and then ran all the way back to the car!

OK, no mole, lets get back home!
When we got back home Eric was straight in to the cuddle cup for a cuddle to warm his tail and other bits that were cold.

Miss May had something to say to him when he tried to warm his paws up on her back and was told exactly where he could stick his paws!

Back to work tomorrow, well for OTL but us woofers plan to catch up our missing sleep!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Wotcha maties. I reckon us woofers should go on strike until we get our rights to a Sunday morning lay in like wot sensible people do. There I was at 4 this morning, doing a patrol of a very cold icy garden. It's been sunny here but very chilly. Me and my mum snuggled up for a snooze when she got home from work but she couldn't get comfie so off she went to do some jobs, I stayed snuggled up for a bit longer cos I missed out on lots of snooze while I was guarding. I'm hoping for a bit of a lay in on Tuesday cos I'll be guarding again tomorrow so no chance there. Eric is very brave wanting to go out in this chilly weather but I suppose if you must, then sitting in a warm ferret bag is the way to go. Loved the pictures there. Hope you can make up for missed snooze this evening and hope you get plenty of muggings to give you a bit of strength. Take care and have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. Lovely warm looking pictures, I just can’t believe all that green stuff on the ground, we used to have some like that but it got covered with snow and ice, will it ever go. I have seen pictures of Allhallows, Grain, Gravesend and even parts of Essex and they all look how I remember it looking here! Eric isn’t silly, he goes out and paws a lift for most parts, except the possibility of a mole but when he realises that moles aren’t stupid he goes home. Sorry you didn’t get chance of a lay in with that supercharged lady you are blessed with, Archie has Tuesday to look forward to but you two just hope for chicken in your bowls. Keep warm, send me some more lovely pictures xxxxxx
