Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
It's been rather quiet today, Old Two Legs has been messing about with spread sheets and clearing out his clothes cupboard.
That is a good task and the ferrets enjoy it as well 'cos they love rolling about his old shirts and burrowing into his socks 'cos they go in where OTL puts his paws. Then they can poke their noses out of the holes that OTL's big toe has dug a hole!
It is so funny to see a ferret nose sticking out of a sock end!
The morning walk was rather dark and chilly and it wasn't worth taking the camera.
After cleaning the ferret cages OTL set about deciding on what lens to take with us at lunchtime.
In the end he decided to try the 105mm Close Up Lens, just so he could see what would happen when he pressed the 'Close Up' button on the camera and this is what happened!
His name is Rocky! |
Our lunchtime walk took us over the old fort and through the bushes down to the sea shore.
As we worked our way around the big hill we spotted a cat! A big mean looking cat who was after catching a bird or two. He spotted us at the same time and for some reason decided not to hang about to say hello!
Oi! |
Us, going to 'Discuss Bird Hunting'
Tally Ho! |
OTL started working on the leaves and stuff, mind you, it didn't help having the wind blowing the leaves around!
Some moss and a bramble bush leaf! |
Ivy Leaf. |
Hi Woofers and OTL! |
Tomorrow OTL is off to get his eyeballs polished! Should be fun!
See you tomorrow and we'll let you know how OTL gets on!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
Wotcha maties. You've had a good day by the sound of it. I went to the vets and had my six month check up and of course the vet was very pleased with me. My mum had to hand over loads of dosh for my next 6 months worth of medication but wot the heck, I'm worth it. When we got home my mum decided to build my boys new desk, it sure is a big one. When she finished she decided she'd have to move the wardrobes to fit the desk in, well it was fun going behind the wardrobes to see wot treasures there were. My mum kept telling me to get out or I'd be left behind the wardrobes. I'm pleased to say she left a gap for me to get out so I'm here to read your diary. Wot a cheek, that cat trying to catch the birds, glad you managed to chase it off. Paws crossed that OTL doesn't suffer while his eyeball is being polished tomorrow. He's very brave. You could have hitched a ride in that chaps trailer. Smashing pictures today, that Rocky looks like a nice chap. Have a lovely evening all, hope the scoff was better today. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (good boy) Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteTell OTL to be good then he might get a cuddle from the nurse and some doggie chews. I like your pictures, the last leaf was especially nice, really clear and very good. Rocky came out well, he causes no problem and doesn't hide balls or socks. I hope OTL put everything away from his clothes cupboard, I imagine you trying to go to bed amongst shirts and socks with holes, maybe even a stray ferret who was unaccounted for. A big hug for OTl for tomorrow, he will soon be polished and will see even more of what goes on, oh dear!!!
ReplyDeleteTM will be called on for the walkies duties so do as you are told xxxxxx
On thank goodness for that, for a moment I thought something AWFUL had happened to Eric de Ferret! But it was just OTL messing about with photo's!
ReplyDeleteTally Ho! Indeed . . . you look like you're having fun chasing cats!
Please wish OTL well for his eyeball polishing today!
Hugs, Sarn xxx
