Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
Well, I don't know about you lot out there but this morning I poked my nose out from the curtain to see what had landed in the road, like tons of snow.
What did I see? Puddles, loads of big wet puddles and not a single snow flake to drop onto my nose!
It was almost a disappointment, I mean, they have been going on about snow heading our way and I was looking forward to doing some skiing down the hills and even some jumping as well.
Instead, what did I get?
I got wet!
So did Holly and so did Old Two Legs!
It started as soon as we got out of the car, Holly wanted to go back and have a wee in the garden!
OTL said that as he has spent so much time and effort and money getting us to the football field, we were going to enjoy it no matter what falls out of the sky!
Holly said that tonight when he is asleep she is going to pee in his ear!

You know the rain had gone right through to my skin and OTL had to make up a bed for me on the office desk top.
I had my blanket under me and a dry doggy towel over the top of me and I managed to fall asleep for and hour or so, just long enough for the rain to soak into the towel and my hair to dry off!

OTL is still having problems with the computer and on top of that his USB switch has died as well!
It never rains but it pours!

Yo maties. Sorry to hear about the rain, you do look fed up in the picture where you're wrapped up on the desk. I notice you didn't have your flying jackets on when you went out. We had quite a lot of snow here over night and we've had some on and off during the day. I couldn't find my grass this morning and I didn't want to go out but my mum pushed me out the door before she went to work, evil woman. My mum went off like she was about to find the south pole, all wrapped up and not a lot of her showing under all the hoods, scarves, gloves, boots and coat. Mind it was very cold. Hope you're dry and warm now. Sorry to hear OTL has still got problems with his pewter. The fencing chaps are coming in the morning, hope they don't think I'm going out there to supervise them in this weather. I have to say, I don't blame Holly chops for her plan for OTL making her go out in that awful rain. Take care and stay warm and snuggly and hope you get some muggings. ReplyDeleteYou poor little soggy doggies but you do look snug under that towel guarded over by a model of a ferret. Our snow had gone as well this morning but now it is back and I know someone who spent an hour getting from Pets at Home to Asda by the airport (OTL and TM will know how close together they are). Anyway now it is all back so I hope TMs ladies manage to find her in the morning and have a lovely day getting all inky. So now it is USBs that are playing around with OTL as well, I have some spare notepaper if he needs it but he will have to collect it. He will be in for a shock when he receives a dose of warm Holly wee in the morning, make sure you are well out of the way or you will get blamed. xxxxxx
