The weekend is a coming!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

We love Thursday 'cos it is so close to Friday which is the beginning of the weekend! The weekend means TV watching and paws up on the sofa and generally enjoying ourselves.

That is if The Missus is going to see her mates up at the village hall!

This mornings walk was boring 'cos the sun had been up for ages and it was so overcast that Old Two Legs didn't even take his camera with him!

Lunchtime was better as Miss Wendy and Monty came out with us. They haven't been out for a little while and it made a pleasant change to get them out in the fresh air.

One good thing is that they walk a lot quicker than Eric!

Being that they are both on leads they have to go over the same sniffs, unlike Holly and I, we can go and find our own sniffs and then decide if we want to share!

Hey, look, two sniffy slugs!
It's fun sometime just to listen to them discussing sniffs!

OK, interesting sniff but I wouldn't eat it!
Now, us woofers like to leave our 'Calling Card' so other woofers know we have been there but the ferrets don't do that. Mainly 'cos there are no wild ferrets around here, just weasels!

Oh No! Your not going to do a wee on the sniff?
That's what it was like all the way back to the car! Wendy had to get a carry 'cos she said that she was a little exhausted as she hasn't been out and was a little unfit!

As they are on separate leads they can wander from side to side of the path which means that OTL is forever stepping over their leads and it looks like he is dancing!

That's the last time I tell you about the sniff!
There was some new piles of earth shoved up into Mole Hills and both Wendy and Monty had a good dig and snuffle through it all!

Of course, there were no moles there and OTL says that they might be miles away hiding down the other end of the field!

Still, we gave it a good sniff and the ferrets did their digging and finally, just to show we were there, Holly did a wee on the hill!

Miss May was a bit put out being left behind but spent the afternoon rampaging around her cage and waking Eric up by jumping on top of him!

All this running around, May caught her claw in the bedding so that caused OTL to help her unhook her claw and then he rolled her on her back, put the bottle of Ferretone across her tummy and while she was slurping away, OTL clipped her claws with his nail clippers!

TL says he is going to try the Moth Trap he got for Christmas. The weather is warmish and there have been signs of insects buzzing around, so, who knows, there might just be a moth or two!

He's going to get his camera and macro lens set up ready for tomorrow!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well it's been a nice sunny day here as well today. Me and my mum have been busy doing gardening and digging up weeds. Now I don't get why it's alright for my mum to do digging but when I do digging I get told off. I mean, there I was last night, digging under the throws on the sofa and wot did I get, I got threatened with allsorts, that's wot I got and yet today, there she is, going all round the garden digging holes. Sometimes I think these TL's are just plain silly. Loved the pictures today but I can't see any of you and Holly chops. How's that new telly doing? Is it behaving and showing the right channels? Glad Monty and Wendy enjoyed their time out. Hope you all have a lovely evening with some nice muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Well here I am again catching up on your week, wondering what moths and things there might be floating around. They are fun for woofers to chase but then they fly away. Nice bit of sunshine today to cheer everyone up that’s what we need. Well onwards and upwards going to the Range today to buy some fat balls for her birds, it doesn’t get more exciting than that. xxxxxx
