We have been pigging out today!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Wot a sunny day it has been, except of course first thing this morning when there was ice on the windscreen and on the leaves of the low down weeds!

We were a little early in getting out and Old Two Legs remembered to bring the camera with him and he snapped off a view over the marshlands and over to the east where the sun had just got up!

A bit of Ground Mist!
As we walked around OTL just had to take a photo of the Daffy Dillies. He took another that was a close up of the bloom but we preferred the 'Two Bloom' shot!

Two blooms is better than one!
Another thing we spotted was the crow gathering sticks to build the nest with. Mind you, it's a good job Holly and I don't bother with all that nest building, we got our beds already made up for snoozing!

It's a busy time for the birdies!
Lunchtime it was just great in the sunshine and today May and Eric came out with us. May was the most energetic and she was running all over the place.

We still had to wait for them 'cos our legs are longer than ferret legs. Mind you, Eric did manage to get a lift in the ferret bag!

Do you think if we gave them a woof they might hurry up?
Back on the football fields Holly and I were doing our broad sweep looking for sniffs and May and Eric decided they would try to creep up on us!

No chance! But it was fun watching them try, just before we ran off to the car!

OK, you go left and I'll go right and we'll get them!
Saturday tomorrow and the clocks go forward an hour between Saturday and Sunday!

We prefer it when the clocks go back 'cos it feels like we are gaining an hour but this going forward means we have lost an hour and we don't like loosing time!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Smashing pictures today, I always like the ones with you and Holly chops in them best, even though OTL is really good at taking pictures of daffy dillies and sunrises, they don't have the same appeal as the ones with my favourite girls in. I've had a busy day, snoozing mostly cos I was up very early cos my mum went to work. I'm not looking forward to losing an hours snooze on Sunday, I think they should leave the clocks alone. I've been very busy exploring the sniffs in the garden, I reckon them squirrels have been burying their nuts again. Sounds like you've had lots of snacks today, you know us working woofers do next extra snacks to keep us fit and alert. I'm off to bed soon cos my mum is getting me up very early again in the morning so I need to get my snooze in. Hope you all have a lovely evening, love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. What a lovely day today, at lunchtime it was warm at Dockside and people were sitting outdoors at the little tables eating. Good that OTL took his camera so nice to see the goings on of your hunting grounds. In a way we are like crow building his nest when in our motorhome as we have to construct our beds from our sitting area. You have got it made, literally with your day beds and big bed to share whereas the ferrets are in one place with beds to choose from. I think the ferrets are on to a winner, I think I would like to be a ferret but am not keen on their food so maybe I will stay as I am!
I like putting the clock forward because it means more daylight when it goes back it gets so dark early and I don’t like that. Have a great weekend, when is TM installing a bed in the village hall, save her tooing and frooing. xxxxxx
