Friday and it's still chilly out there!
Mind you, we got down to the sea shore and managed to capture a couple of shots of the sun poking it's nose through the clouds!

Strange thing is, you can take a shot of the sun and just ten seconds later the scene has changed!

Back home Holly and I retired to bed for a snooze while Old Two Legs gets busy cleaning the cages. Now, we know what is going on the other side of the locked door 'cos we can hear OTL giving a running commentary on what the ferrets are getting up to, you know, like, 'NO, have a wee on the paper, that's what it's for!' Then there is the........'Just what are you doing with that!'
Best is when you hear.........'Eric, I can't spend all day collecting you from up there!'
Eric loves climbing up on top of the cage but has problems getting down again, so...............

Lunchtime we were going to invite the ferrets out for a walk but it's too cold and drafty so we had OTL to ourselves.
One thing we did notice, loads of daisies we blooming on the pathway. At first we thought it was hawthorn bloom falling to the ground but that had almost gone now!

As we were heading back to the car we met up with Erik again and OTL ran off a couple of snaps. Trouble is, Erik is not too sure about the rattle of the shutter on the camera and runs off as soon as it makes that noise!

OTL has been packing stuff ready for his trip but today some of his customers sent through orders and one was rather large! Not that he doesn't want large orders but it means he will have to be doing a load of engineering over the weekend!
It's a hard life being a Two Legs!

So poor OTL is having a working weekend, I am sure he is happy doing his engineering to support his little family. I have done nothing except breakfast, lunch, sleep and a TV so not much to report, I don’t think it was as cold when I opened the back door. We may go out tomorrow but we will see. xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWotcha maties. Nice pictures today. Now I counted twentythirtytwo daisies. It's been very sunny here again but still that cold wind is blowing. I've been seeing off squirrels again today, one run up a tree and sat up there swearing at me, my mum needs to cover my ears, I'm far too young to hear such language. Me and my mum went for a snooze after she got home from work, it was so nice to snuggle up under the bedspread and snooze for a bit longer. While OTL is doing his engineering, he could make a ladder for Eric so that he can get down from the top of the cage on his own, or better still, he could make him a slide then Eric could go weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee all the way down. I'm off for an early night soon, got to get up in the middle of the night again tomorrow but at least my boy is off this weekend so I can look forward to wrestling with him.
