A day of Dunno's!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Well, today it has been just great! The wind has dropped and changed direction as well!

It was blowing gently from the east, so it was coming in off the sea.

Old Two Legs was still hunting any insects he could find to photograph and mumbling about the lack of plants for the insects to land on!

The first thing he found was this Small Copper who was resting on some wooden steps!

Well, it looks like a Small Copper!
There were loads of flies everywhere plus some small Horse Flies but we suggested that because they were small they should be called Pony Flies!

When we got home there was this moth resting on the  front door! OTL wasn't too sure what it was called so he has emailed the picture off to a Moth Web Site for some help!

Dunno what this one is but it was hanging on our front door!
Lunchtime we took Wendy and Monty out for a walk. Well, they had a walk then climbed back into the bag then out again for a walk, then back into the bag again!

I wish they would make up their minds!

We didn't take the camera 'cos minding the ferrets and us and watching out for strange ferret eating woofers, OTL wouldn't have enough paws to hold it all!

So, on the way back from our morning walk we saw this wild rose starting to shove it's blooms out!

Well, it looks like a wild rose!
Every time we go out for a walk we are always on the watch out for bunny rabbits but just of late we seem not fast enough to catch them!

Mind you, that doesn't stop us from trying!

It's a Daisy and Holly Bunny Chasing Woofers!
We have suggested that the ferrets try some bunny chasing but they just don't seem that enthusiastic about wrestling a rabbit!

We hope Archie Babe is getting over his itchy back, Holly reckons it was a mosquito wot did the damage, they are down here but we are lucky that OTL puts some yucky stuff on our back and it seems to keep most of the nasties away. Like at the moment the stuff is a repellent for those spider things called Ticks!

Now they are nasty things!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Well it's been very sunny and very warm here so I've stayed in the shade. I sent my mum out to cut the grass and make sure there was no nasty bugs lurking waiting for a meal of fillet before I went out. I've not been quite so itchy today and my mum reckons where I was bitten looks a lot better but my elbow is still looking quite sore and still a bit itchy. I've managed to go most of the day without having my muzzle on and I haven't had that nasty collar thing on at all, so it's paws crossed that by tomorrow everything will be looking a lot better. My mum phoned the vet and unless it gets worse then I shouldn't have to go back, not sure I'm happy about that cos I do like the cuddles I get and the treats. My mum is trying to get the weekend off cos she reckons she's sleep deprived on account of her keeping one eye open and on me so I don't scratch during the night and I've been telling her I want to go in the garden during the night as well, I just like to make her feel useful. My boy came home early today so we had lots of cuddles. Nice pictures again today. My mum liked that picture of the rose. Now it's not that you and Holly chops are getting slower, it's the bunnies getting faster and cunning. My mum puts stuff on me so we're hoping that wotever savaged me died an orrible, slow and painful death from being poisoned. Glad to hear Monty and Wendy enjoyed their trip out today. Hope you all have a lovely evening with some nice muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (feeling a bit better but still open to more sympathy) Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Well what a lucky break, OTL comes home to find a moth posing on the front door, what you need is to find a couple of playful bunnies sitting in your front garden, I don’t see that happening but you can always hope. Today has been nice and cosy and everything in the garden has been smiling with just a gentle breeze and I am hoping for more tomorrow. So pleased that you have all been enjoying the outdoors but poor TM confined to four walls working on her arty crafty side. 💖 💖. I hope Archie is getting better every minute, poor little chap and he is such a martyr to the cause. Have a lovely Thursday everyone xxxxxx
