Ferrets and Steam Engines

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

We were expecting a little sunshine today, well, the forecasters said it would be sunshine and clouds but today it has been all cloud, wind and a bit of a chill!

First thing this morning we were out in the wind and chill but Old Two Legs was saying that it may get warmer later, yeah, right!

We found a bee that was just too cold to fly!

It's taken ages to climb up here!
Back home OTL rushed through the cage cleaning and by ten thirty we were ready to go to the Steam Fair!

First thing we did was to find out where the Ferret Stand was located. We arrived just as everyone was having a bit of late breakfast!

Holly was doing her best to get a nibble!
Roy was tucking into his breakfast and teasing the ferrets as well!

Aw! Come on, just a nibble?
When Holly and I started as well he gave up and let us all have a nibble of sausage!

This is how it's done!
Being it was a Steam Fair there were loads of steam engines parading around the ground and show ring. Of course these are all made by the owners and were very well manufactured!

You can see how big they are by this Two Legs sitting on the back!
Not only were there Traction Engines but also there were Steam Trucks as well!

I don't suppose this would ever be allowed onto a Motorway!

We could walk quicker than this could go!
It was fun looking at all the tractors and old cars but to be honest, after a while it was getting too cold so we left them all and headed back home.

Not sure what there is for dinner tonight but we have had some sausages but I think that it is Scoff tonight!

Well, you can't win them all!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Well I liked the pictures of the steam thingsy but the pictures of you and Holly mugging that chap for his sausage is certainly the best, mind, the ferrets trying to get a bit of sausage came a close 2nd. I managed to mug my mum for a small taste of her fish wot she had for tea. My boy took his sausages and chips upstairs to eat so there was no chance of me mugging him for a bit, I did try to hide in his room when he was downstairs putting the sauce on his sausages but he found me. It's been cloudy and chilly here as well today but I suppose at least we didn't have any rain so that was a bit of a bonus. I've got my mum home now for the next 3 days and my boy is off work Wednesday and Thursday, although he has to go for blood tests on Wednesday but if he can get there before the world and his wife we should have time for plenty of wrestles during the rest of the day. I'm a tad tired from being up very early this morning so I think an early night is on the cards. Hope you get some tasty scoff for dinner tonight. Have a good evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. That looked a good day out, I wish we had known then we could have come. The sun did come out this morning but I mentioned having lunch in the garden later and in it went and never came out again. You and Holly were lucky being fed by the lovely Roy but I noticed he had two plates of food because one was patterned and one plain. Now I said I wasn’t there but looking at the 5th picture, right hand side that looks like Michael in his baseball cap, I would have thought I would have missed him but I was very busy! I wonder where the show was? Good for Archie getting a bit of fish but I think his boy was unkind letting him sniff the sausage and chips with SAUCE and then hiding upstairs. Tut, tut. More cold tomorrow so be warmed xxxxxx
