We're running short of Creepy Crawlies!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back again!

Old Two Legs has fun going away with his cousin Alun for a few days up in Scotland seeing all the sights and visiting all the distilleries and generally having a good time. Now, we found out that this is not a new thing, apparently they have been doing this sort of thing since they were very young!

OTL is on the right!

Hey! You got any Gripe Water?
Enough of this history lesson!

There wasn't too many things to photograph this morning, there was a snail having breakfast.

This leaf isn't very fresh!
There was a House Fly who was looking for a house to invade!

This is bad, not even a Bungalow to be found!
Now, we did find a new bug and it is described as 'One of the Squash Bug'!

I suppose that is because it looks like it has been trodden on! We have seen the Shield Bugs but this is the first one of this species we have seen!

Coriomeris Denticulatus, if you can pronounce it, but I'm still a Bug!
This bug looks funny with the badge on its back. There is another but it has black line down the side of its shoulder.

These bugs are getting very technical!

Today we had some drops of rain half way around the lunchtime walk so we decided to head back home and have a well earned snooze this afternoon.

We know how to live!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Very interesting picture of OTL when he was a mini TL, is he the one in the dress or the one unpacking his nose .......... ????? Has Mrs TM got her hands on that flat bug, cos it looks like she'd done a bit of embossing on his butt. We haven't had any rain thank goodness. I spotted one of my little froggie friends in the garden to day, he jumped into the pond when my mum was weeding near him. I went for a nice walk this morning but didn't see any of my woofer mates but Brenda phoned this afternoon and said little Millie isn't well, she's got the grumblies and she's been to the vets and if she doesn't eat anything by tomorrow she's going to have to go and spend the night with the vet, now I've got my paws crossed cos Millie isn't brave like me and she won't like being away from Brenda or her bed overnight. I've been very good and I've not scratched all day, still wearing my crop tops though. Right the kebab man is here so I have to go and check the sniff. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Lovely pictures today, no little woofers gracing our screens and a very rare sighting of OTL and so glad that he is not the one in the dress! The buggy thing with the badge on his back looks likes a leaf to me and would be good as a camouflage. We had drops of rain when I was in charge of the motorhome with its roof open so I saved the day and closed it, then the sun came out, went in, came out and so on and so on. Tomorrow I am not cooking dinner as we have a visit from our son Ian, Chinese Takeaway is on the cards, Take care xxxxxx

  3. Good bug spotting skills today OTL.
If Alun is on the left I can see where he got his passion for dressing up!!! Fun to see the Lesser Spotted OTL as a mini TL!

    Hugs, Sarn xxx
