Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!
Well, it's been all go today, Eric came out for a walk this morning, leaving Miss May at home to catch up on her snoozing!
There is and are where Eric just loves to dive into the grass and wild flowers. He went so far under the flowers that Old Two Legs had to follow him, undo the lead and pull it out before hooking him up to the lead again!
Mind you, Eric is getting very caring as far as us woofers are concerned, he has started to climb down from OTL's arms and stands there waiting for Holly and I to pass before chasing after us!
Back home we have been loading and stacking and packing and sneaking in some extra nibbles for the journey!
Eric and May have the run of the house while OTL cleans their cage and normally, when the cage is ready for them to move back in, May can be found hiding in the Pinny Box when The Missus keep all her pinafores.
Eric is normally found snoozing on my bed!
Today Eric wasn't where he normally is and what is more, he didn't come running when he heard OTL waving the 'Squeaky Chicken' toy that make a terrible noise! OTL was hunting all over the place, behind the chairs, under the furniture and even in the washing bin where the clothes are stored before getting washed!
OTL was getting worried.
All the rubbish bins were checked, the storage bins in TM's workspace were all emptied and reloaded.
Then OTL had an idea.
He checked the travel cage on top of Monty and Wendy's cage and there, curled up, with his eyes tightly shut, snoring his tail off was little Eric all worn out after the run this morning!
TM has been marching in and out of the caravan with clothes and 'Improtant Stuff' like DVD's and Crafting Stuff.
OTL always gets worried when she starts to load all her stuff in the caravan 'cos he reckons that the axles might break!
This afternoon we went out for a walk, in the rain, but it didn't last long and we decided that we will have snooze before finishing off the loading!
The sun came out just as we arrived and we went hunting the bunnies, just to let them know they have two weeks off!

Yo maties. Well I thought you were off this morning but I suppose all that loading takes time. Loved the pictures today, that will keep me going in case you can't get to post for a little while. I think you was very wise to warn the local bunnies that you're away for a couple of weeks, who will they have to play with? I hope there's plenty of room for all your necessities and things like scoff. I hope poor OTL has got over the worry of Eric tricking him this morning, I bet OTL was ready to cancel the holiday if he couldn't find him. Mind OTL could have set his pair of super sniffer woofers on the problem and you would have soon found Eric. Enjoy your early snooze and I hope the traffic stays at home so you can get your early start in peace. Have a lovely time all and don't forget to chase them heeland bunnies. ReplyDeleteHappy travels a don’t go getting lost in the Scottish hills, we are home from the Spitfire and Tigers, Daisy Girl visited with her mum and dad as it was Fathers Day and didn’t stop eating fortunately it was chips from the Burger Van, her packed lunch and ice cream, she tried out the bed and the toilet before going home for dinner! Glad your home bunnies are getting a holiday, two weeks of not being chased by you they will be complacent when you get back. Checked everyone is ready as you head off into the sunrise and we will hear from you when you are a bit settled abroad xxxxxx
