Busy Doing Nothing!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Wot a day! We saw 34 on the in car temperature gauge and you know, we were all well up for a run at lunch time but as soon as we got out of the car it seemed like we had his a hot brick wall!

Old Two Legs had his camera with him but there was a sad lack of insects to photograph!

All we saw was a small Dragonfly having a breather!

It''s just too hot to hunt!
Holly and I kept to the shady bits and even shared a sniff, well, it's just too hot to argue about it!

One of the good things is that half of the walk is under the trees which is great in the wet cos that keeps the rain off and in the sunshine we can stay cool in the shade!

Back home it was a hard job finding a cool place but after a small hunt I decided that under OTL's desk was the best place!

Well, nothing much left to report on except that the forecast is for rain, thunder and lightening over the next few days!

Now, I don't mind the rain but thunder tends to upset Holly so we have to look after her!

    Yo maties, well I didn't go out today, it was very hot when we got up so I decided I'd stay indoors and put my paws up. We've got damp tea towels hanging on all the fans to help keeps us cool. I've only been in the garden when I really have to cos like you said it's like walking into a hot wall. Me and my mum ended up sleeping downstairs last night, I went up to bed and decided it was still too hot even though my mum had done all she could to make it cool. I've got my paws crossed, back and front that it rains during the night so it cools down. I hope you get rain but no thunder cos I know Holly chops gets very upset. I bet you all cuddle up to her though if there is any bangs and flashes. My mum is at work tomorrow, she said she'll go in her pj's if it's still hot ....... not a nice sight. Nice pictures today, particularly the ones of you and Holly chops, that poor dragon fly looks like it's wilting. Have a nice evening all with some nice muggings and paws crossed for some rain and a cool evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Yes, we were at the Steam Fair ahead of the event and it was very hot and we spent our sitting down times chasing the shadows and drinking icy drinks. I like the sharing a sniff picture vert sisterly for a change, poor dragonfly too hot to hunt. I hope that thunder storm didn't upset Holly xxxxxx
