It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret again!
We arrived home late on Monday and emptied most of the caravan stuff onto the lounge floor to get sorted into piles. There was the 'Washing' pile and the 'Store it away' pile and the 'Shed' pile and not forgetting the 'Toy' pile! The 'Toy' pile is the best fun, Holly and I get the balls and squeaky toys out and scatter them across the floor. After the morning walk we go up to bed and it is the ferrets turn, Eric and May. They both gather the toys up and hide them in one of the bags, all neat and tidy like.
After they have had a game and been put back in the cage, out comes Monty and Wendy who proceed to get all the toys out and hide them under the furniture and sofa and Old Two Legs chair!
Then, just to make sure, they hide the bags in amongst the craft stuff in The Missuses work shop!
You know, it's fun going away on holidays but we have decided we are glad to be home! I mean, while we were away we didn't see any ships cross our horizon, just the odd yacht parked up in the bay, not like the ships that cross our horizon!
Ahoy There Sailor Men! |
Hey! You! Clear Off Cloud! |
Dunno what it's called but it looks nice! |
Didn't see any Ladybirds up there! |
You can sniff it from miles away! |
Where you been Mates? |
We're looking forward to the weekend, it's the Kent County Show and we got Alun and Glynis visiting over the weekend, so, loads of nibbles and vast amounts of giggle juice as well!
See you all tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
Yo maties, well I am very pleased to hear from you and that you got home safely. Poor OTL, sounds like he needs another holiday if he came home to loads of work. I've been to the vets today, my mum decided I was far to quiet and not up to any mischief so along we went. The vet said I've got a bit of eczema on my lip so I have to have it washed and dried and some cream put on, then she proceeded to the other end, had a squeeze of my butt and that was sorted. She reckons I was a bit fed up with both ends not being absolutely perfick, but they will be now. I had a nice siesta when I got home cos I was worn out going out in this heat. Not a lot to report from this end of the world other than it's hot, most of my woofer mates seem to be staying indoors when it's walkie time first thing in the morning, mind I did bump into little Alfie this morning and he turned up at the groomers yesterday while I was having my gnashers cleaned. We've got lots of insecty thingys in the garden now that my mum has got some flowers out there. We haven't got any ships on our horizon though. Has Mrs TM got thru all the washing yet? Wasn't there any piles of scoff when you emptied out the caravan? The ferrets are very helpful hiding away the toys. My mum has been having a giggle juice before she goes to bed in this warm weather. Hope it's not too hot at the county show this weekend. Hope you all have a lovely evening with plenty of muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteHello again from home, nice to see you safely back with no hitches, oh well yes just the one or you would have left the caravan behind and then what would TM have done without all her stufffff. We find it is nice to go away and somehow nice to come back with all the things you didn't find there except Distilleries. Sounds as though work was waiting for OTL when he arrived but nice to feel wanted by someone. Hope the County Show is pleasant for you, a must visit to the ferret rescue of course, we are off to Hassocks, no I didn't know where it was but about 4 inches above Brighton on our map, so not too far. We made a monumental decision today to take the winter coats out of the van wardrobe! We still have pacamacs in the cupboard and a couple of woolies to be on the safe side, I am also leaving my scarf behind but not the thermal gloves that live in the van which were bought at a boot fair one cold weekend when I had left mine at home. We have some nice giggle juice in case we are thirsty and some cheese and crackers, not going for long. Sounds as though Archie has had both ends meddled with but I think he likes all the attention just as long as he keeps his little teeth away from his mums plants. A tall order.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture in my mind of you all moving those toys around the house, sounds fun. Enjoy Thursday, don't get too hot and maybe a few more sailing ships and dragonflies to watch out for. xxxxxx
Glad you got home safely. Xxx
